OK, this is my final work on AVPM , 50x70 cm poster : ]It was a wonderful art journey to draw them (unfortunately not all of them... It would take another 2 weeks : [) and to make this poster.
I will try to separate new portraits form the final art soon, but right now I'm done
It took all my free hours this 2 weeks and my boyfriend (who likes AVPM very much) said he will email them to say he is jealous
I've learned so much and had wonderful time listening to AVPM music (always when drawing them ...)

this is my first critic on DA
I did as much attention to making it 1 piece as I could. I started making those portraits as separate drawings. I decided to go for a poster after drawing 4 of them allready. And I couldn't redraw them... no time for taht : [
In the end I preferred to sacrifice some realism (light isn't 100% right + white fog separating back raw of people who reasonably couldn't stand there brought some chaos - but it is in the spirit of 'HP and the order of the phoenix' poster that I made a parody of) to put some more of Starkids into the picture. And it didn't look good making them smaller : ] I tried.
I was more trying to keep the composition interesting + put some story into it.
It was choices made, not pure luck of arranging existing drawings.
I do not argue that those were best possible choices
My favourite is Quirrel portrait... When I seen the results I decided to keep on drawing starkids to see how far I can force myself to go... and I'm very happy with how far I went : ]
I was tempted to draw Tyler Brunsman ... I call him 'Mr American smile'
you know you have advantage of knowing at least some of them from real life - I had only blurred pictures form youtube
Thank you so much for this insight. I must argue you know ; ] I wouldn't be myself if I didn't but it is wonderful to read such a long critique. I always take such comments into my heart and try to avoid same mistakes in future work.
