[ Manifesto | The Crooked System | Bad Future | Ex Mero Motu ]Started off as a ballpoint pen sketch, did the lines with Pentel RSVP pens and they held up pretty nicely for the lineart. Prismacolor markers and colored pencils, white Sakura Gelly Roll gel pen for some highlights, as well as a white prismacolor pencil for soft lighting and blending(I also used french grey 20% on some areas). The gun was lined with a silver metallic sharpie marker, but it didn't scan that well. Did some light touching up in photoshop and added a background.
I originally had this concept of like a "cover" image for Bad Future with Mortis and everyone, but I think just Mortis taking Maynard's place is sufficient and effective--Even in the Year of Maynard, a lot of love goes to Mortis...
Anyway, you can take it as it is. People who know my ongoing story will get it, others can make their own interpretations. I WILL say that is Maynard's plasma gun, though.

Dude I love the texture of his clothing , like how you colored them , and despite being blacks and dark greys you gave such depth with the folds
