It actually drives the wearer to insanity, in a very savage and beastly way. However physically, it removes any form of pain you feel, pulls together wounds for them to heal faster, enables the movement of things that can't move properly such as Guts' mechanical arm or a broken limb, and even gives one the ability to transform into their beast form (Guts having the Hell Hound form)

Actually the wearer goes berserk hence the name of the armor being "Berserker Armor". It doesn't heal you, it does the complete opposite. Metal rods created inside the armor pierce the flesh of the wearer making the body a puppet and the armor the puppeteer (when you're already severely injured to actually move) and it doesn't give the ability to transform, it has a curse that makes your fear take over you and makes you go Berserk which in battle makes you attack either enemy or ally if it shows up in front of you with insane strength.
The armor's helmet is originally a skull but once Guts is taken over it changes into the shape of a wolf which is the body manifestation of Guts' fear. (Who knows why it's a wolf, maybe because he was attacked by wolves after fleeing the camp where he defended himself from his step father which ended up in murder).

It does repair wounds to an 'extent' through it's 'puppeteering'. When fighting... I can't remember who. Grunbeld maybe? Well, when fighting an Apostle, it broke his arm, then the suit simply fit it back into place, enabling him to use it perfectly.
The transformation of the helmet isn't into a wolf head, it's actually into the head of a Hell Hound, most likely anyway, as suggested by the fact when Guts becomes a Hell Hound, through "the manifestation of all the hatred, rage, desire for revenge against Griffith and the evil that dwells within Guts' soul". The Hell Hound is Guts' 'Inner Beast', the manifestation of his anger, lust for revenge, all of the things that come out in his Berserker moments, which are in fact his Inner Beast taking him over. Each use of the Berserker Armor caused the Inner Beast to get stronger, eventually literally becoming a Hell Hound.

I really love the Berserk series and this is one of my fave armors of all time, please I do hope you'll eventually get your armors into the game and for download

Basically what this armour would do is provide immense armour rating, weapon speed, weapon strength, increased speed and jump height, and essentially infinite stamina, but once it stops working for you, you're basically fucked. Simple as that really.
