Day 41, Drowzee, Hypno.Again, nothing special, just trying to catch up on my pokemon.
I remember the old game in Pokemon Stadium where the drowzee use hypnosis on each other and you have to stay awake. Drowzee has apparently developed insomnia since then, so hypno here is trying to help him out a bit.
I'm cheating a little here with hypno's anatomy, opting for a more chibi style. One more interesting thing about hypno is I'm not sure if it has a mouth.

I saw one commercial as a kid and had nightmares and cried like a little bitch. Since then whenever I see him, I try to look away fast enough and don't get nightmares, wich most of the times doesn't work...

How's Hypho supposed to eat without a mouth, does it feed on dreams only?
Mankey's design also has no mouth, but I've seen a picture (maybe it was even screenshot from the anime) with a Mankey shoving a banana right under its nose. So there must be a mouth. The design might simplified because it's a pain in the neck to do lip sync in animation

That's just sick XD Mouthless creatures wouldn't survive in the course of evolution, especially as ferocious as Mankey. But Hypno might indeed feed on dreams, though its unevolved form needs to eat in a normal way.

can you imagin a creature that ate dreams so much that eventually it lost its mouth to only feed on those? like, it didnt freaking need one anymore? thats creepy.

That's natural selection XD It's so much easier to prey on the dreams of sleeping pokemon (and occasionally people) than to hunt for actual food. Hehe, just kidding. I don't really believe in pokemon who can maintain their physical body without normal food. Maybe ghosts and some weird things like Magnemite (who might feed on electricity), but not a fleshy, furry creature.
