Description
Teach my lungs to breathe underwater
Teach my heart to beat without her
I taught her, I taught her
Guide my feet towards the alter
Close my hands and wait for an answer
I caught her, I caught her
Keep my secrets close, our hearts aligned
I see darkness where you see light
Emotions fold, our blood runs dry
I see a future inside your eyes
We're fading out again
We're fading out again oh
She said...
This world isn't big enough to live it on your own
I see fire in your eyes and I feel fire in my soul
You're gonna make it through this I just know
Keep it in your heart, it's buried deep within your bones
Don't you come home, or I will never let you go
You're gonna make it through this I just know
Keep my secrets close, our hearts aligned
I see darkness where you see light
Emotions fold, our blood runs dry
I see a future inside your eyes
We're fading out again oh
We're fading out again oh
She said...
This world isn't big enough to live it on your own
I see fire in your eyes and I feel fire in my soul
You're gonna make it through this I just know
Keep it in your heart, it's buried deep within your bones
Don't you come home, or I will never let you go
You're gonna make it through this I just know
The world isn't big enough to live it on your own
I see fire in your eyes and I feel fire in my soul
You're gonna make it through this I just know
Keep it in your heart, it's buried deep within your bones
Don't you come home, or I will never let you go
You're gonna make it through this I just know

This picture has some symbolism in terms of the journey Lilac and Shane are going through currently!
Depicted as one where she has arisen to the heavens, Lilac looks down towards the earth, and she's crying. She is crying and looking on as Shane's wings have been clipped and he's falling, atonement for his mistakes now taking their rightful debts. But, like Shane's fall, Lilac has officially made her entrance.
The Wounds: The wounds all over Lilac are simply that. Wounds. They represent the physical, emotional and mental wounds that Lilac has earned with her journey to the city, meeting Shane, and ultimately losing their cubs. From terror in the coliseum to her falling in love with a cat she was never meant to have, letting that love develop into cubs they both were not ready for, but what Lilac wanted to protect, to the physical wounds she obtained in her escape with let to her miscarriage of the triplets. These wounds are meant to mean more than just a physical pain. They are meant to teach the lesson that innocence and goodwill can be just as bad as the evils empire cats are warned of about the city. Lilac and Shane have learned the hard way that even bad things happen to good people, and there will ultimately always be a price to pay for it.
The Amulet: This item represents her lover that she left behind in the city, Shane. It was given to her when she had bestowed upon her mate her own treasure, a bell from one of her anklets. The exchange, much like that of ring exchanging in marriage, was meant to make their bond stronger, give them hope for a future one day where they wouldn't have to worry about warring factions, have hope to maybe... Have a fresh start. Start a family. It's a hope that Lilac, after her escape, feels she has failed to uphold as a mate to Shane. And so she keeps the amulet close for the day she can properly apologize. And right the wrong she had committed.
Butterflies: Butterflies, from ancient times, have held different meanings all over the world. Some mean good fortune, some ill omens. And some, are simply the spirits of loved ones past. There are three butterflies represented in the picture that have an ethereal like aura, and for good reason. The three represent the cubs Lilac and Shane lost in the leopardess's risky escape. And as a result, Lilac had miscarried the first litter her and Shane were to have.
