Phew, it's been two years so give me a sec.Β
First, Japan's sleeves. Assuming you've done the other papercrafts, you'll already sort of know how to do the basic construction. That's great. You've attached the arms on the body (after you put the skirt on) and they're just sort of "there." Cut out the sleeve-blob shapes and glue the brown flower edges together leaving a gap at the narrow end for the arms. The tricky thing is that when you sort of slip the sleeves on and glue them to the arm, the wide side of the must be facing upwards; it is impossible to glue them facing downwards.
If you look closely on Japan, I folded the sleeves down afterwards so they weren't floating in space; for the most part they are behind her.
GERMANYβ¦.
Germany's model is super super tricky, what with the headphones and all. The two thin stripes are probably meant for the sides of the headphones to cover up the edges of the paper. I didn't use them since I was just very careful with how I glued so it was unnecessary.Β
If you have any other questions on the construction, by all means feel free to ask.
