Tottoko (trotting) 'Hamutaro', 296 episodes of total cuteness and good clean fun, despite which I enjoyed it very much. Β And needless to say (but I'll say it anyway), I love your fine portrait of my favorite ham-ham (well, aside, perhaps, from Ribon-chan; for some reason she put me in mind of Shampoo). Β By the way (having perused the previous comments), seems to me the eyes are spot on.

It was a very cute show, even the US English dub wasn't too bad! Though I think I could have done the eyes slightly bigger, but I was drawing this from memory, the show had ended on UK TV at the time

In fact the dubbing was done in Canada by the The Ocean Group, a very high quality firm who've given English voice, via a wide pool of talented voice artists, to numerous anime over the years, notably including Ranma 1/2 and InuYasha; Laura was played by Kagome's Eigo-seiyuu, Monica Stori--which reminds me, I got a huge DVR stack of InuYasha: The Final Act to catch up on... Β
