Kaori is made for the anime adaptation of Hitoshi Iwaaki's Parasyte. I haven't watched a lot of episodes yet, so I'm not too familiar with the world. If you have any information as to how parasites (or the world of Parasyte) works, please leave a comment about it so I can improve this oc!

Kaori first meets Me-Me when he buries into her body through a pre-made wound from a dog's bite on her shoulder. He fails to gain control over Kaori's brain, and now resides as a part of her shoulder. He is able to control and morph her shoulder through to the end of her elbow.

The Japanese word for "eye," or "eyes," is "me." It's pronounced "meh."
Kaori's first name means "fragrance weaving," and her last name means "mouth of the river."
Due to Me being on her shoulder, Kaori cuts the hair on the left side of her hair short to avoid getting Me tangled in it.
Kaori also had to cut off and re-stitch the sleeve of her school blouse in order to accommodate Me.
Kaori has to wear her hair in a bun when she goes to school to hide the fact that half her hair is cut short.
When Kaori was first deciding Me's name, she proclaims to give him the first name that she sees. She closes her eyes and picks up a book by Charles Dickens (she has for English class.) Neither of them were to pleased with the name "Charles," so she resorted to calling him just "Me-Me" (or Eye-Eye.)

I hope to make a fan-fiction for Parasyte once I've seen more episodes!
