Description Finally the next part is ready
So yeah... This is where the action starts. I never really drew fighting scenes so the next few parts will be interesting
Things turn out to be quite tense for our heroes here. But luckily Link returns to the battlefield to save the day ... well at least he tries.
For all of you who might wonder where that fairy came from ^^: It was in a bottle in Link's bag and he managed to shatter it just in time
I guess this panel is also a bit confusing with all the different things going on at once . The two Hyleans that are saved by Yunobo from the falling rock are Mina and Mils again (the treasure hunters from the beginning). Oh and like I did with the Champion's abilities, I'm bending the rules a bit here, too I'm not completely sure, if the Blood Moon only revives monsters or not, but I believe it gives power to every enemy and follower of the Calamity. So the Yiga should also benefit from it's effects.

So what do you think?

Los, Link! Du schaffst das!

Das Panel mit den Scherben (eigentlich ja die drei Panel) sind etwas verwirrend. Ich verstehe nicht so ganz, was da passiert. Wo kommen die Scherben her?
Oder ist es ein Flashback?

Yay! Link rettet Sidon!

One time I fought a Yiga  ( a false merchant if I remember well) in Hebra, and then, just at the end of the fight, the bloody moon arrive and the Yiga was back too. They are Ganon's allies, after all

Oh really?!? Well that confirms the fact that they really benefit from the effects of the Blood Mood.
Thanks for clearing that up for me

No problem, It's a pleasure   But the bloody moon seems unable to heal a boss in the middle of a fight (that's happened to me too, and the life of the Hinox stay at the same point when the bloody moon has come) It seems that the fight have to be ended

AkuDemyfan [2018-04-27 22:17:23 +0000 UTC]

This is really cool! You've done awesome job with the first part of the battle!

Now, I admit straight off, I didn't realize Link to have had the fairy and broken the glass in the beginning. I understood that only after reading your describtion. Sorry! In reality, I bit feared someone got him already. (Hit him with glass or something... XD) In fact, I wondered who was by Link before Yunobo saved two Hylians, which I later on realized to be the same duo from the beginning and NOT by Link. -.-' It took me moment even when I saw Link stand alone and no-one having realized his revival.

Anyways, awesome words from Link! Sadly, he's not the only one with "fairy". =/ And things are only looking worse now. First round is over, second is up for beginning and looking harder than the first round. D= Yet, all Heroes are standing and Link's certainly ready for the battle this time around.

As in other notions, it took me a moment to realize the different sword handle with the two Hylians of which neither is Link. Along with the shadow of the rock, which, I first thought to be Yunobo's shadow. What I liked is the fact of when Link swings the sword is in line with where the sword is back on the ground. This probably was what bit fooled me into thinking that someone got Link killed instead of what actually happened. I feel bad for Sidon having gotten shocked! D= Poor guy. But luckily it takes more than that to take him down. I also like the fact that Link needed to break the bottle instead of the fairy actually coming automatically out when he dies like in all of the games.

Eager to see the actual fights! But, as always, do take your time and don't rush.

If you want a tip considering battle scenes, here's one:
When I write a fighting scene, I play it on slow-mode in my head. This means mainly for going the battle strike by strike and thinking through the best way to answer into the attack (block, avoid, attack or something else).
For an example, let's think the enemy strikes diagonally from up to down, left to right, the good guy's response will depend on lot of things but usually, in my stories, it would be one of the next:
- Countering the attack from opposite way and then having bit of a battle for which of them is stronger, even with the good guy having bit harder position
- Backing off and avoiding the attack, yet this might end up with the good guy keep on backing off from the attacks and possibly getting into trouble by someone or something attacking from behind or the good guy backing into a wall, tree or something else happening like stumbling
- Attacking which ends into hoping to be quicker than the enemy and getting the strike in like into legs
- Backflipping away and hoping to be quick enough to get ready for the next attack or in even better situation to launch an attack of his / her / its own
- Avoiding by moving to side and attacking while probably getting it in from low if moved to right and from high if moved to left
Obviously these are just ideas and the good guy's own position, the actual situation, the character's past and present along with lot of other things affect the choice of action.

But, as long as you can imagine the situation, you also can draw it (or write in my case). Just take it slow and think the battle scene through carefully while taking all into count. I'm absolutely certain you'll astonish me and others by your choice of actions and drawing skills! OH! And no pressure even with the given words. Just enjoy, don't stress and everything will certainly flow nice and easy.

First of all thank you

Yeah... I admit this part is a bit confusing with all the different things going on here ...
As I mentioned in the last part, I had to cut some scenes because it got too long. So the first few panels (up to Link's hand with the Master Sword on the ground) were supposed to be in the last one and act as a little cliffhanger there, but well
hehe yes, poor Sidon, but he is tough I removed that automatic-fairy-thing, since this comic is supposed to be more 'realistic'. The fairy also 'only' heals wounds and doesn't have the power to bring dead people back here.

I do have mixed emotions about the upcoming fight I'm excited to draw the last showdown, but I'm also afraid that readers are not satisfied with the result, because I spent a lot of time building up the tension -.-

I just finished writing down the script for the rest of the comic and it seems that I will be needing at least two, three or even more parts to finish it I added more and more scenes that haven't been planned in the beginning ;D I never thought this comic would be that long XD But it's so much fun working on it and I hope a lot of people enjoy it

Thank you so much for that detailed description I'm sure it will help me a lot!

It's okay. I think it's better this way. I really enjoyed of the Sacred Realm part being it's own piece than having "in the living" being part along.

Sidon certainly is tough! And I like the way you chose for the fairy situation. Besides, comparing TP and BotW, there's a connection for them. In both the fairies needed to "call" to the Fountains. In TP it was the Silent Realms (or whatever it was called in there) to gather the tears or something to bring the Guardians / Deities and so the fairies into the Fountain. In BotW you gotta pay first to the Great Fairies and after that to upgrade your clothes and on that way bring the fairies forth. So, maybe the fairy Link's currently got just isn't yet as strong as it could be.

Don't worry about the continuation! I'm sure it'll be amazing! With your drawing skills the next parts are more than worth to see!

Nice~! And I know that feeling fully. I have a specific idea for a story and when I write it, things just either go differently or I'm adding stuff that wasn't in there at the beginning. XD

Glad I could help!
