thanks so much ! I practiced digital inking too and I was impressed with the render near real inking but it's very long for me,10 times (at least) more longer and for a more simplist picture than Pierre one's !!

Digital's good for less detailed renders but at the end of the day it'll never replace the old methods! Just a quick question - what dpi did you scan the page in? Anything above 350/400 dpi would be best for the colors! I have a pos interest from someone in Spain who may do the honors as he's practicing to be a digital colorist! That or its me!

Ps - Ally will be doing the draft for the Christmas story by end of month so i should have a good idea of who will be doing what in July! As for Story 2...well the panel layouts are nearly done by me so should be available end of this month as Pierre expressed an interest to do one of sections for our first 2012 arc.

well if I remember I scaned it in 300dpi(or 200 but the resolution of the page pierre send me is very high). I mailed you the HD files,tell me if it works, so the next pages I'll work in 350 dpi. For this one I don't know what I can do ...

I can up the rez at my end for this one....I'll add it into my Corel suite and let you know tomorrow! Just want to make sure all that excellent art doesn't get fuzzy!

But for ref...I work at A3, 600dpi for digital (Jason and Israel do the same for pencils...Israel at digital inks at 600dpi A4...ach to their own!) then when I transfer for the actual size of the comic go down to 350 dpi, A4 for the release version(slightly low rez for previews). Hope that helps as a guide! Darren.

okay, thanks for this info.i'll change my format subsequently.
(i usually inked in A3 in page scaned at 200 or 300 dpi,this one is big 4900 by 3300 pixels in A3/300dpi so i thank it was enough, all other collaborations I did them like that when there are after colored)

No problem! thanks! i ink at A3 myself in manga studio at 600dpi but Israel is trying to coach me to ink at A4 instead! I done some covers at this format...but pages I'm sticking at A3! Too used to it! Darren
