I learned to play the trumpet in 6th grade. Then I got braces. End of trumpet playing career. Nice shot and use of DOF.

I know how that goes. My parents have been on my case since i was that age to get braces but I have declined every time. Haha

I didn't have much choice. This was back (1970) when braces were steel bands they glued to your teeth and you hoped you didn't develop unseen cavities. I was lucky, I didn't. Still hated the damn things.
