Description
The Ciruya Weapons are crafted by the Naiathan , a species of sea nymph that live in the kingdom of Eriae. They are the third of the five Maeji'Nse, the first species created to give life back to the planet. All children of the ocean goddess, Quara, are expert craftsmen. Unlike their forefathers, they do not use coral in their weapons, believing that such a fine element should be reserved for the arts, jewelry and other similar projects rather than for battle. Known for their handwoven fabrics and painted silks, they also took a more artistic approach with their weapons selecting wood, pearl, stone and shell ingredients.

The bulk of their weapons come from their namesake, wood of the Ciruya tree. It proivdes a lightweight yet sturdy base. The wood grows naturally in a twisted form and was chosen for its unique asthetic appeal. Also it acts as a symbol of their kingdom since the Ciruya only grow in the seabeds of Eriae. The same techniques they used to create dyes for their fabrics, they adapted them to make finishes for wood.

The pearls used, called "Shinia," are grown off the Yorsa flower. The name is a reference to the time of day when they bloom and means "midnight" in their language. The green stone, Tamenite, is harvested in nearby caverns. Lastly, the blades are composites of shells that have been fused and welded together, a technique they learned from the Aralune .
