Description
Sans and Papyrus’s respective issues can clash badly at times. It’s even harder because they both don’t remember where those issues even came from and really have no idea how to deal with them. They’re just kind of fumbling blindly.
So many echoes from things that don’t exist anymore! Papyrus’s is more positive , and Sans’s have a pretty distinct theme going on. I also wanted to reference this scene but couldn’t quite find a way to fit it in anywhere. So just keep it in mind I guess, haha.
You can sort of consider this as the darker flipside to Sans’s inner thoughts about scarves . Same thing, just in a different light. Similarly Papyrus’s thoughts showed up when he first learned about making friends .

Based on your description, an looking back in it, I think I understand what made Sans feel so down all of a sudden. Even if he doesn't remember everything, only pieces of him is still there....bad ones.

OK so I know this probably won't happen, but this is what I want to happen in the comic next:
-when sans and paps are walking around they find the gaster followers where they talk about gaster and how he fell into his creation
-sans realises that wd gaster is the same initials as what's on the handplates
-they, with help from alphys, use the frequency thing (ya know when gaster made the thing and the monster came through and it almost killed them) to get back the pieces of gaster
-the pieces are put back together
-everyone's memories come back
Idk what would happen from there, but that's what I believe should happen so yea.

I'm sorry, I saw the opportunity for a stupid joke and I had to take it. This is a good page! But let's face it, pretty much all of your pages are good, haha! I could almost feel the sense of...disappointment? Dull melancholy? Whatever it is, near the end. I'm not very good with empathy, but I do love feelsy (what even is English) things.

Hi! I don't usually comment but I just want to stop in to comment on this one. I think this is one of your best drawn and colored pages of this comic thus far.
The expressions are so pretty, the shading is so nice, the lines are so clean, and everything is just really really a step up from the usual.
I'm not sure if you put all the extra effort in on purpose but I wanted to let you know it didn't go unnoticed and looks REALLY REALLY good!

In where Papyrus has Gaster's ambition, and Sans has his inferiority issues. This is a breath-taking external example of the self-destructiveness of Gaster's internal personality.

An excellent example of the peculiar psychological phenomenon caused by having had an abusive and/or neglectful parent. In spite of having been too young to remember or your mind suppressing those memories, you yet live with scars that others notice and wonder about.
(Not quite a happy page, but definitely more positive than the previous since the air between them has been more-or-less cleared for the time being. So, thank you for that!
