I know, but it doesn't make any sense if he had 1 atk 1 def and 1 hp his whole life and survived without stubbing his toe or accidentally getting hit by someone or slamming into a wall or something, because it would take his 1 hp and he would die.

I think he'd be somewhat aware of this, and would be very, very careful. He IS the only character in the game that can actually dodge attacks, other than the player/Frisk/Chara. Plus, his 1 DEF may prevent some damage being done to him, such as having stubbed his toe, or falling out of bed.
Though realistically I'm just stating what the game said about the 1 HP thing, I dunno about the other stuff I just said

Don't know man. I think cuz he can read something that YOU can't read on him, he might just be able to manipulate what you see when you check. And besides, I said 99999 health. You're right, the message does say 1 hp. But when you check it checks the MAX stats, which is 1. I think cuz he sleeps so much he gets waaaaaay up past his max, like how you can sleep and get past your max health, but he sleeps so much I bet he has WAY more than just his max hp of 1

...wait the max damage thing you said earlier doesn't apply.
I'm fairly sure that Undyne in her normal state doesn't have 20000+ HP, yet the damage I've always seen dealt to her when she's protecting Monster Kid is above/near this.

I believe in the HP meaning hope thing. I mean LV I'd short for LOVE which is short for level of violence. EXP is short for execution points. There's nothing I can think about that could deny that. Not to mention the fact that sans knows about every timeline. Even after a true reset. I think he's lost his hope and that's why. When he fights the player in the judgement hall, hee is so low on hope for a future that he's pretty much ASKING to be killed. Only thing is he wants to take you with him. So yeah just thought I'd out my two cents in. XD
