Each Swablu is made with a combination of smooth & rose minky with hand embroidered eyes and was made with my own original pattern. The rose minky was a really good decision, using it was much simpler than hand sewing each individual lump like my Altaria. I made 9 small ones, each about 13 inches long, and 2 big ones, about 23 inches long. There are 5 small regular, 4 small shiny, and 2 large shiny. These are for my table at Metrocon's artist alley this year. Any that don't sell will be on my etsy shop afterwards. I find today appropriate to post this since Hoenn has been confirmed. I am really excited, the third generation is definitely one of my favorites.Related content

Rose minky is a type of minky, not a color. It has a fluffy swirl pattern like a rose, you can see it on the wings.

Torchic are so cute. I originally played with Mudkip, and my darling girl Sweetcheek was one of my favorite Pokemon. I don't know if another Swampert could replace her, so I might go for a Treeko this time around.

Dear Arceus, these are adorable! I've personally been really wanting to make a Swablu/Altaria plush for the past month (the Wally from my randomized Emerald Nuzlocke characters caught a Swablu as his starter), and the Hoenn remake confirmation is pushing me over the edge. xD
That photo of them in the tree made me smile. And I really like the combination of fabric you used! The rose minky looks perfect for the cotton birds; I'll have to keep an eye out for that stuff. Great work here! 
Out of curiosity, how much will you be selling these for?

Thanks so much! That fabric is also fun to use. I'm not 100% sure yet, but the small ones will be around 60 and the big ones around 120.
