Description
This had been sitting around on my harddrive for ages, I had abandoned it after deciding I didn't like it. I dug it up the other day and decided I may as well finish it, to try and get back into the swing of things. I haven't done much digital art in a couple of months.So here you go, some ridiculous looking dragon sitting around being boring on a hill.
Sparkledragons, fuck yeah.

Haha there is a method that works reaaaally well to get good names.
One: Check the sizes of objects. Possible name: Playing with the giant
Two: Check the shapes Possible name: Swirling spines
Three: Check the colours Possible name: Warmth
Now, the ULTIMATE STEP:
Go to a translator site xD Preferably spanish. Makes the corniest titles sound bewitching and mellow.

I have a bad habit of de-saturating the colors of everything I do. If only I had left this bright and hideous, it could be elevated to the status of true sparkledragon. Should have thrown endless piercings in there too, hmm..

Haha, I know it's not, really. I've seen some wikedly amusing dragon designs around that could fit "sparkledragon" quite nicely though. Pointlessly elaborate designs are fantastic.

The only thing iffy about the design, if you ask me, is the wings, and his neck seems kind of bulky now that I've stared at it for a minute. The rest of it rocks, but I just love things that are spiky.
Kudos on the rock texture in the foreground and the mountains in the background, too.

Awesome drawing, you shouldn't dislike this anyway, that's very well done, and your colorings digital stuff is really stunning. I like the design and how it turned out great, dragons are very interesting to draw I think.

Haha, naw. I was more thinking along the lines of sparkledogs (if you know what those are), applied to dragons. Because I sure see a lot of uber ridiculous dragon designs around, many of which are created by my own hand. Oh snap.
