In so far as vision, what I think separates your work from many other macro photos of droplets of water is your eye for color and your use of reflective materials to add a magical sense to your images. The blues in this image are a perfect counterbalance for the browns of the leaf. The composition works well. I was initially scratching my head at the degree of blur in the foreground browns, but after thinking about it, it helps keep your eye on the subject matter and it counterbalances the degree of blur in the background. The image is original for the most part, and your technique is very skilled. Your focus is spot on. Lastly, impact is outstanding. Like many of your images, and what is lacking in many macros, is the art and the magic. For me, what keeps my eyes on the image is the beautiful color, great play of light, and thoughtful composition. You created an ethereal and mystical little world that I wish I was little enough to step into. Great job!
