Nathaniel: I'm not a monster or anything my life is just more of an adventure that I had planned on it being. To paraphrase a wise man who did a lot of good things, some less than good, and some outright abhorrent: Nobody ever just wakes up and thinks 'you know, I think I should be a real asshole today'. You do your best, you make ends meet, you cover for your friends, you pay your debts, and suddenly you've shot someone.
It sounds rather like Nathaniel has been down the same road, the chief difference being the length of his resume.

True most of his crimes are things he considers mundane parts of his job. The more extreme acts are mostly the result of him doing what he felt he needed to do to evade arrest.

Not really sure you could call him a terrorist, he isn't using fear as a tool to force his objectives. In his case calamity is just sort of an unintended byproduct of his actions and activities.

Hmmm; Nathaniel's "Looters Logic" makes perfect sense if self-interest is the ultimate good. But pack animals defer self-interest for a collective-good, and Nathaniel is violating that all over the place. Lock this charmer away.

He is part of the same fanatical group as Susan, who believe that all information and technology is a gift of God and should be open to all people freely.
This may sound like a virtuous idea on the surface but Nathan is proof of the distructve effects of this idea when taken to the extreme. In his own mind however all his crimes are efforts toward a greater good that most people fail to grasp.
