WAS THAT REALLY NECESSARY?
Aaaaand I totally called your fandom. I mean, really, your fandoms include Aguila Roja, ghost stories of the general variety, Austurian (I totally spelled that wrong) mythology, and that one old game you love. So really, it wasn't hard to pin down ;D
It is fucking beautiful. Lucrecia always makes me feel conflicted. She's so beautiful but damn if she doesn't need slapped sometimes I think. (If I'm thinking of the right character. The crazy mother, right?)
That dress is absolutely stunning. <3

Is that a guy with a robot-hand lovingly stroking a chick with a badass eyepatch? What is this show even about, because from my very very sparse knowledge of Spanish (that comes from English words with Latin roots, signs and labels in both English and Spanish and absolutely no study whatsoever), it seems to be a period piece, which makes the robot hand a little weird? Are there any English subs?
Though on second thought, yeah, I guess his hand could be in a gauntlet.

I did some googling and, I think, the show has been dubbed into English and is available at Hulu , but I cannot really tell since the site is not available outside of the US. If you want to watch a trailer with English subtitles, there's this one on Youtube. If you ever get into learning Spanish, Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) has all the episodes available for free with subtitles and their transcriptions in Spanish.
The show is set in 17th century Spain, but the only historical references in the show are just little winks to an audience that doesn't care and especially doesn't know much about history. There's some scene where the king talks about Velázquez, there are some references to historical characters, but everything is mostly fiction. It's an adventure show with some bits of comedy and drama thrown in. It has some really good plots and then others that make no sense, but it's still interesting to watch.
The guy's wearing some sort of mechanical gauntlet. He gets into a fight with another character, and this other guy kicks his hand against a frozen wall. The wounds get so bad that he has to have all his fingers chopped to prevent gangrene. Since he's the sheriff, he finds it hard to fight and torture others without his dominant hand, so he uses this gauntlet. This is one of those surreal moments that throw you out of the story, but I admit that sometimes watching this show is like watching a trainwreck. You just cannot stop looking.
The woman used to have two functional eyes, but she was attacked by a hawk at the end of last season and she has to wear an eyepatch now. I think these two may have been asking for too much money and this is how the scriptwriters are taking revenge on them
