Wonder if they do transformation work...or awakening leading to physical transforms.

I think we'd need to develop the Lorenz-Einstein-Alcubierre Propulsion drive built first for FTL...and then figure out how to solve the three-body problem...

Spinning is easy. In space there's nothing for the construct to roll against. However it has to be incredibly tough and have a balancing system to rotate about its center without tearing itself apart. Halo did that with local artificial gravity generators which stabilized the system.
