Is the model actually balancing on her tip-toes, or was she sitting on something? Was the back ground photshopped in or did you use a paper based backgorund and just paint on it?

Hello and thanks for the comment. Lisa B, the model, was balancing on a stool covered with a white table cloth. I photographed her on white paper and photo shopped the rest of the background.
