Description We actually ventured outdoors to take a photo.. granted, it was night time and there was absolutely no one around.

Not sure if I'm happy with the processing - may change it later.

Figure is Saber from Fate/Zero by Good Smile Company and she was worth every damn penny.

Woah! I was dissapointed with the lack of good pictures of this Saber. This is the best one I've seen so far
Might I ask how you do night photography? I've tried, but things always come out too dark

Thanks! There isn't many of her out there which is pretty surprising since she makes for such nice photos.

Sure, you'll need to pop your camera into manual mode. We used a 5 second exposure and an aperture of around 4 for this photo.
For the lighting, we light painted using light from an iPhone screen (haha) for about 2 seconds of the 4 second exposure. I hope that helps!

Great photo. One thing I might try is to rotate the photo while cropping to give it a skewed, speedy look. Aka also told me to avoid placing the subject squarely in the center of the photo, and I think it's a good point. Give it a try!

Thank ya, Chag! I have a few more to process so I'll give the things you suggested a try and see how they turn out although her speeding across the road rather than along it might come across a little odd, haha.
I also wanted photos of Saber looking directly at the viewer but unfortunately all those shots ended up out of focus. A lens that could auto focus would sure come in handy for these types of shots, ugh.
