I just finished reading Secretary (eager for more!). This image totally gave my shivers. From the perspective of a rodent the concept of a stooping hawk, especially in a martial style, would be primal. I wonder if SV is impressed- not just by the Facture but by Nutsedge's ballsy style choice. If I were a rodent, I'd think taking on predatory aspects as a style would be both empowering and also terrifying.

Man, and I thought this page couldn't get any more awesome. But it did. The panels look great together. I love the grayscale of the comic, I think it works well, especially for this scene since it's snowy and all.

Man, that's really neat. I appreciate the amount of subtle detail the background, as well as the main characters. I tend to overdo those parts of a picture.

I love how this moment was foreshadowed earlier in the comic. It's such a coincidence that it's almost hard to believe. And the picture itself is so breathtaking and brilliant... How can a cute little jerboa become such a massive beast? O8

It seems darker, Mister Zack..... Yet her feet in its' talons seem lighter?

I didn't change any values, so it might be an effect of knowing that the bottom of page 85 has a pure white background. The darkness of the hawk without the white background ends up bringing the overall values down.
