Well the best thing to do is practice and pick up on techniques from other base and doll artists. That's pretty much what I did. It surely won't be instant, I went through a lot of epic fail myself before I got any better.

But the best advice I can give is to not give up and just keep on trying and if you ever need any help on anything, I'm willing to help in any way I can ^^.

i always save dolls i really like or are detailed so i can see 'how it's done'. xD; i'm still trying to get the hang of the flippy-whassahoozets of skirts. i've even watched video instructions! i managed to do it like, ONCE. one curl. then the rest of the skirt went to hell, aaand it was on paper. haven't been able to do it since. *rofl* i'm soo dyslexic with my hands. D:

Oh man, I have a hard time on skirts in general, I always spend a shatloat of time on skirts oTL.

Well, keep on trucking, eventually it'll turn out right!

Um.... I just as lines pertruding out where pants normally crease (Around the knees, near the feet) and make the area around them have a little hump, if I can...
