"I am not a writer or anything but I had this idea rattling around in my head:

AU: Irkens have enslaved the human race. Zim is a very good and well-respected invader (despite his size) and has completed his 100th mission so put in a request to retire from invading so he can teach new recruits. Dib is assigned to be his slave while Zim is on the massive getting all set up for his new career.

Dib is a very good slave, having been one his entire life and Zim decides to be kind to him. He knows the life of a slave is rough, especially for humans who the empire seems to discriminate against the most. Zim tells Dib that for the short time they'll be living together he can do whatever he wants when in private; which of course turns out to be anything he can do to please Zim. Zim has always been self-reliant and independent so this makes him feel a bit awkward but he appreciates it nonetheless. However, Dib must still act like a slave when someone else is around so that they don't get in trouble. Zim never forces Dib to do anything he doesn't want to. Dib has never been treated as an equal before by anybody - he quickly falls in love with Zim. Zim slowly begins to develop a fondness for Dib as well.

An Irken high in the military comes to see Zim about his transfer. When he goes to his room Zim is not there so he decides to wait for him - treating Dib with disrespect like all Irkens do, except for Zim. After a while he gets bored and demands that Dib service him. Dib is used to such treatment (and worse) but with his new-found confidence from living with Zim he refuses which angers the Irken. Dib tells him that he only follows his master's orders. The Irken says that slaves should obey any Irken since they are all superior to humans (especially ones who are higher in rank than his 'master'). He also reminds Dib that he has great influence over Zim's career.

A little later Zim comes back to find his Dib pressed up against the wall and the Irken's dirty hands all over his body. Zim gets angry and defends his 'slave'. He notices that Dib is shaken up and tells him to go lay down in his own bed to rest and he'll bring him something to drink when his company leaves. The military Irken is astounded and says that the way Zim treats his slave is inappropriate - defending a slave that doesn't obey superiors, letting it sleep in his bed, leaving it home alone unchained, no fresh bruises or gashes, serving it drinks! It's unheard of. He demands Zim to relinquish Dib to him immediately. Zim doesn't care who this guy is or what rank he is (nor how tall he may be), he doesn't back down. The Irken leaves furious and vows to put an end to their offensive relationship, it only gets worse from there for Zim and Dib (but that only brings them closer together).

It's ZaDr with mature contents. Characters are above 18.
