I started drawing a troll. Then I thought it would be good if I drew a tiny troll on top of the first troll's head. Then I thought it would be even better if the first troll was standing on an even bigger troll's head.I'm not entirely sure what I was thinking, to be honest.
And yeah, I subscribe to the notion of trolls being silicate lifeforms. Don't have anything against the D&D/WoW style ones; but for me, 'mountain people' should definitely mean 'people made from the mountain'.

it's a shame there aren't more trolls like this. i do like the D&D/WoW trolls but those guys are all over the place. i even had the thought a few days ago that i never see any other kind these days.
