ah! shared it on facebook. so far four people liked it. one guy asked who did it...despite the link to your page (does anyone actually read the descriptions?!! X_X) too bad the grunts weren't added in the line up (probably the one thing zaido did better than shaider)

I'll be honest, I wish the show didn't get all of the hate it does simply because it's more of a sci-fi drama than a Metal Heroes show, I love it IMHO. I really wish we Americans could do something similar but with one of the toku's we're familar with (Prehaps Giant Robo?)

Yeah I wouldn't mind an American live action GR series that was Transformers Masterforce meets Ultraman: towards the future meets Zaido except having more of a resemblance to the source material (namely if it was in the same universe so some references to the past series would be made. The protagonist I imagine would be an adopted nephew of Johnny Sokko himself who treats his son as a mentior of sorts) and that the New Giant Robo was initally meant for Johnny as a replacement for the previous Giant Robo (which was destroyed in the last episode), kinda like Ginrai's transsector form in Masterforce which was initially meant for a revived Optimus/Convoy (Or meant to be in his image in the Manga continuitg) but had fallen to him instead

I also thought of another idea
What if Johnny/Daisaku controlled not just GR-1 but GR-2 and GR-3 as well for a series? My friend actually suggested that as an idea for a new series

But for Zaido, I didn't think it was all that bad. Ot was interesting, albeit somewhat mediocre but at least average
I am going to upset a lot of Filipinos (and have actually) for me admitting this

yes, that's true
That's because Shaider was a hit in Philippines, and also a lot of fans of Shaider dislike it
i knew that some complained how the armors looked because they looked like rubberfoam rather than metallic

Well I liked the suits and the weapons, which are the only thing I liked about it
I can see where people dislike it (the director wasn't a fan of the series due to him not growing up watching it) and it didn't help that the writing team was rushed to do a 5 day everyweek series due to soap oprea time (yet could have done 1 episode weekly and that could have worked) and the budget wasn't very good. The costumes are what made it up for me

i understand
but i also know that some complain because it had too much drama-like content (it had 5% of action)
