I don't really do Duel Network, since I'm used to dueling via Messengers. If you have Yahoo, MSN or Skype, maybe we can talk.

This is a great artwork, the detail is excellent and she looks very peaceful. I can totally relate to the nostalgia feeling for YuGiOh, though last weekend I did get a few good duels.

I'm still waiting for cards off Ebay so I can make my Prophecy deck, though I know that the next set, Cosmo Blazer, will have two more (specifically the Fool and Death).

My most recent journal covers what I think of the TCG these days... The Prophecy archetype might be fun but it's fallen into the 'Let's milk money out of people' trap Konami uses so much...

To be honest, ever since I played online, there were two decks I wanted to do, but never found the right cards for it: Zodiac, and Tarot.
The Prophecy set fills in the latter, while the Constellars fill in the former. Once I have those two decks, and a little bit from older sets, I probably will stop buying them.
I never watched further than Crash Town in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds, and I don't know what Zexal looks like, as I can't watch it here, in Quebec.
Maybe Konami should learn from Wizards of the Coast on how to make it viable. Creating worlds, making stories and choosing sides could make it more interesting. I thought they finally did an okay job with the Duel Terminal world.

Well, the story behind it was good and they did have good archetypes, but I think they copped out at the end of DT14 (I am a bit biased because I play Gustas and they didn't get their 'boss' monster).

I'm getting the feeling that Sophia is their 'boss' monster. According to the story, Wynnda was the one who made the desperate plea for help when the final battle almost tore the Terminal world apart.

That feels like a real rip-off to me, especially since many of the Psychic types in the archetype are 'X of Gusta', indicating (to me, anyway) that Gusta is some sort of wind deity in the Mist Valley region.

I'm not sure. To be honest, I'm actually surprised the Gusta still exist after the Vylons were destroyed. Considering what happened afterwards... I mean, story-wise, the Gishki attacked the Gusto tribe, almost wiping it out.

Well, most of them were established as those before that. You'd think that rather than Sophia, the actual patron god of the Gusta would have intervened. Unless I got things wrong and Gusta is actually a region (it appears the Gusta live in the old Mist Valley, though it may have been renamed).

Well, we sadly won't know... Still, sometimes I look at what my Gusta deck can do, especially with Sphered and a looping unit, and I realise you don't NEED raw attack power in that deck. Especially since I back things up with lots of wind-related cards, usually involving spell/trap kill.

Oh, very nice. ^^
Fan artwork of Eatos is quite rare to see, and I think you did a beautiful job drawing her; nice amount of detail. The pose is nice and quite fitting. ^^
Though not as greatly as Dark Magician Girl is to me, Guardian Eatos is still a lovely character.

It is; I tend to be quite sentimental of the good olde times...but, if anything of my last 2 years of failure has proven, it's that I also hold onto that history...too much as well... -_-
