I know!
I live in Southeast Michigan,so our winter isn't as harsh, but it can get cold. I had her theme on full blast, and it just brightened my day. And I agree with you, she just seems so summery, kind of a carefree, cheerful, energetic tomboy who loves nature and just having fun. She can always make me smile, and I hate when people talk crap about her. She's just an excellent character, and I hope to see her more.

yes! she's so happy and bright and just an amazing person to represent summer! i don't know why people don't like her either, but! she does show up more in the online comic and the anime!

I guess because she gets in the way of pairings, but that's why we've  been given independent thought, if you don't like something, just leave it and write your own story. Unfortunately, there's idiots in every fandom who are incapable of this... Frankly, I think Seychelles is a cutie, and heck, I love the female characters in general, whether it's Liechtenstein, who acts like a proper lady, the motherly Ukraine, badass Hungary, the determined Belarus, and the list goes on. I just wish people would accept them!

if people don't like her or any other female hetalia characters then I, honestly, don't care if they don't. I just don't want them coming to me and saying how awful and stupid the females are-they can keep that to themselves. I love all the heta girls! like you said- from Liechtenstein to Hungary, i love em all. But if others don't like them then okay-whatever, i don't mind
