Description Every artist must have something of it's own, so say hello to my character Lilly the cat-bee^^ a remake of my previous picture. Maybe someday later I will make a character sheet or smth.

At the moment I'm very mad at my scanner >:\ It ruins all the color balance and contrast, that I can't event fix it with photo editing program to look like the original piece on paper. Therefore, I took a photo shot with my phone & I think it looks a lot better.

I'm an unknown hobbyist, I would be pleased if you comment with your opinion, advice( practice makes perfect, eh?)

Awesome work! Again your colored pencil work is just plain amazing! All the natural textures of the grass and the dirt and the tree contrasted with Lilly's bright figure look so nice juxtaposed together. Keep it up, mate!

This picture is really good!! I love all the details you put into it!!

I just have one question though... How did you get in detail so well with the face if you're only on paper? I could never figure that out

Thx! I think you can do a lot on paper Lineart is darkened with a pen, then I just add the base colors smoothly, then with the same color I make shadows, & the lighter parts I color with another lighter color on top of the base color...well if this is what were you wondering about ^^

I'm just amazed at how detailed you got on the face. I could never get in that close in paper with a mere pencil. And I use mechanicals o.o;

The character design is very cute! I love the way you've retained the eye-catching combination of black and yellow from the bee, and the cute fuzziness that both species have. The little wings are great too. Awesome, awesome work on the scenery, as well. Overall, this piece is extremely well-done.

What a gorgeous character! I love the hybrid mix and the colours are just lovely. This picture makes me so hopeful for summer, what a lovely scene :3

You really did your best I applaud you greatly for your style and visualisation. I guess the only artistic mistake I notice here are her leg height difference - her right leg from toes to knee seems a LOT shorter than the other, since you deliberately drawn her in such pose(standing on the toes on her right foot). if you really wanted to make such an effect, you should have either drawn the said foot few millilitres lower, or made her leg bend slightly at the kneecap. But other than that, great work!

Thx! ^^ I'll have that in mind, I used to draw only more human-like species, kinda new as an anthro artist. I actually have some difficulties drawing the lower legs
