Personality: Short-tempered and quick to act, most of the time leaves thinking out plans to those that are good at it, while herself tends to jump into action and fight on instinct only - though isn't rash, and is the situation looks bad, she won't act and wait for better circumstances instead.

Has a terrible inferiority complex, and even though she's loved by people, grew to think that it's impossible for anyone to like her if it wasn't for her wish. Feels uncomfortable and annoyed when in company of normal humans, and prefers to hang out with Puellas only, since they seem to be able to have feelings other than liking towards her. When one of them dislikes her, she develops instant interest in that girl and tries to get on her good side - but if the feelings change into liking after all, she just becomes dissatisfied.

Very insecure, she quickly shows interest in things that catch her attention, but tends to cut herself off from it at the first sight of problems.

Backstory: Comes from a family of six, yet always was feeling lonely - her sister is twelve years older, while twin brothers eight years younger than herself, so she never got to do much with any of them. Her parents, being occupied by their work, didn't give much attention to the children. The situation made her grow up awkward, and that showed when she went to school, quickly becoming a victim to bullying. Afraid that nobody would believe her, she kept that to herself, only doing whatever she was able to to not get her classmates' attention, but with each passing day she felt more and more miserable.

That's when she met Kyubey. Being but a young girl, she didn't give much thought to the dangerous side of the offer, and jumped on the idea of being granted a miracle, wishing for everyone to like her. And so it happened, overnight from a lonely, unloved outcast she became a center of her family and the star of her school. She basked in her new glory, quickly developing confidence and somewhat of an attitude, but also deeply loving all those people who were now so kind to her. She gladly went to fight witches, thinking of this service as a thank you for all the attention, favors and proofs of feelings that she was given.

Yet, as time passed and she grew up a bit, she started to notice the difference between how she was treated, and how all the other girls were. In normal circumstances, maybe that would grow into an even bigger feeling of self importance... but she remembered her wish too well. She started wondering if her friends would be her friends if she never made it. Would her parents love her? Would her siblings seek her company? Would she be asked to be the class president, picked to read the assembly speeches, chosen as the school miss.. Unable to think straight, all those questions were anwsered in her head by a single 'no'. She still remembered the lonely little girl she was, and believed that no matter what, that would be her fate if it wasn't for her wish. All the other people, she started to see as liars who just tell her what she wanted to hear. Soon, unable to take it anymore, she ran away from home. Currently still is of missing status.
