For my dear , it was our little art-trade. Some of you know that I'm not the biggest fan of Anders in DA2, he is so... so... obsessed! SO I drew him with a normal smile, no sad eyes, no Justice, no madness nor obsession.Anders... I miss you.

NOW!!!") err >.> ehem..*coughs* I miss Anders to, when I realized what they did to Anders i seriously saved the game, and started playing C.O.D. Black Ops Zombies, and i went maniac lol. i think i scared my brother o.O >.< I've kept wondering what woulda happened if Alistair had brought along Melissa (my Rogue lol, shes more of a 'Stabbity stab, diee!' than a bow kinda girl lol.) when he meets with Ellaina (my Warrior lol. she has an obsession w/ 2h swords) and she has Anders with her lol. I'd actually taken him, hoping that she'd be there or even Nathaniel at the least lol. i almost died when i seen that it was just Alistair and Teagan. we all miss Anders

if i ever come face-to-face with whoever idiot decided That one, ima bch slap 'em with a fish. then throw them in a room with my brothers python (hes an idiot.. many tiny animals, a 15 month old BABY and hes got a damn Python...) o.O

I always thought that this concept would work fine with completely new character - Anders was just so selfish that he would never agree to merge with Anders and start some ridiculous crusade. They were arguing all the time and they were not friends. But Bioware needed cameo I guess and since Anders was popular he was chosen. If they created new mage who agreed to help Justice I would be happy. Idea itself was great - the character chosen to play the role was a mistake.

I prefer Awakening Anders as well. Though, there are a lot of things I like about DA2 Anders, I wish I could have romanced the Awakenings Anders instead.

Exactly! I never understood why they didn't create new character. Anders had good story in Awakening and he should be left there. They could make some new apostate, some crazy mage who found himself in similar situation as Wynn for example - I would buy that! But no, they had to do with Anders something so out of character for him. Anders never cared for anyone but himself, he was arguing with Justice all the time, they were not friends, they didn't even like each other. Why would he agree to bind himself with Justice in the first place? Nathaniel was Justice' friend, he respected him, and suggested that Justice could find some willing host. But Anders? He would never agreed to that.

I for one am fine right now with what happened to Anders. Regardless if it was or wasn't Anders I would have just loved the character either way... On the other hand when you take a character that is all ready well liked and completely change his/her personallity either you love what they did or you hate it. Both Anders and Merrill had their personalities completely changed so either you love them or hate them...
Also, if you look at some of the Anders/Justice party banter it kind looks like Bioware was setting this up from the start...
