I feel your pain, YamiBloodshedBakura. Platonic relationships like those between siblings and friends are just some of the many wonderful forms of love (key word here: FORMS). The relationships like these that we share are an integral part of most of our daily lives and they're none the less real or important than romantic ones. I love my sister, she's my best friend. I love both my dog and horse, they're devoted companions. I love the stranger I walked past yesterday who smiled and greeted me just because, within the span of a second, they chose to show their own love by sharing a pleasant human connection. Indeed, it can be frustrating to see love expressed and interpreted single-mindedly as romantic.

I want to be your friend! I love the fact you said that about those two guys.You are right Atem and Yugi are both twin brothers and friends with a strong bond that can never be broken.AND they are not like what most insane fans who love to get the wrong idea about them like them being gay and in love with each other which they are absolutely not.I'm so happy I know another person who speaks the truth about the twins from two different timelines.

Actually, it doesn't sound weird at all! There are a few theories about them that I'm honestly confused about all that >.> some say Yugi's his reincarnation, Yugi is his lighter half reincarnated , or Yugi is Yami's descendant. Either way, I mostly support the third because reincarnation is kind of like placing a soul into another body or object without any memory of their past lives intact, and if that is the case Yami doesn't need Yugi to be his host because his soul IS Yugi's. As for the second, Yugi and Yami has a little good and bad in them, so I think it's safe to say they're separate people.
Of course, that's MY opinion and I'm not really sure >.>

most popular one I heard is the reincarnation theory. Though one idea, made by a brother relationship supporter, had the idea that Yugi is Yami's younger brother reincarnated. It may not be entirely plausible but I like that idea better
