Description

It had been a few years since Prince Leif of Leonster, along with a number of his friends, family, and allies had all been summoned to Askr in the wake of a long campaign in their home world. While he was more than happy to be reunited with his parents as well as having the unique opportunity to meet other relatives he had never known, life in the world between worlds was far from ordinary. For the brown haired prince in question, a large part of this strangeness meant dealing with his very odd extended family. As it turns out some of both his and his cousin Seliph’s most prominent foes from the war were actually also related them in some way, making complete familial get-togethers rather awkward. And that’s not taking into account the fact that in the version of Jugdral they all hailed from, women naturally grew to unusually large sizes.

To list a few of these sizeable ladies, there was Leif’s mother-in-law Lachesis who was “normal” at around 6ft 5in and Seliph’s half sister Julia who was about 6ft 7in tall. Even his 7ft in3 tall mother Ethlyn wasn’t someone with a totally unheard of height, and yet it wasn’t too common either. Leif’s aunt/Seliph and Julia’s mom Deidre however was unusually tall with her 8ft 4in height, and his fiancée Princess Nanna was even bigger at 8ft 10in tall. Perhaps most notably, Leif’s very own older sister Altena was the largest woman ever known to exist with her incredible 17ft tall height. For reference of scale, the Prince of Leonster was only about 5ft 5in tall himself when he was recruited into The Order of Heroes those some years ago. So despite having grown up in such a land where women dwarfing men was commonplace, having this many towering women all gathered up in one location was new to the brown haired swordsman. It certainly took a good while for all of the other heroes to get used to having such… impressive members… present as well. Eventually though, things got about as normal as they could for life around a bunch of mini-giantesses around.

Time continued to pass in Askr and one day a special festival came up to honor the 12 Crusaders of Jugdral. Heroes with mythical power whose might had defeated evil from long ago and had their lineages carefully preserved through the generations. Leif, along with Seliph and a select few others who carried such Holy Blood, were all invited to the event to serve as guests of honor. Although it was going to be held in a town some distance away from the headquarters of the Order of Heroes, no one seemed to mind. When the morning of the day of the celebration finally came, the Leonster prince was in his room preparing some personal items before he left for the festival site early as oddities began to occur around the barracks.

A many a loud noises could be heard as well as the shakes of what felt like construction work came and went from time to time. Since an official notice of alert never came however, the prince didn’t pay heed to them and opted to stay put for the morning. Stranger things had happened with some of the heroes from the many other worlds after all. At last when Leif was ready to go, the brown haired lad made his way out of the castle and was rounding a corner in town when a large leg clad in a dress and sandals slammed down in front of him. Kicking up a small puff of dust and knocking the lord on his rear.

“What the?” The confused prince questioned as he rose back to his feet and panned his neck upwards to see just what had knocked him down. “Altena? No it can’t be. Even she’s not this big…”

“Oh goodness, I’m sorry Leif. I didn’t see you there. I hope you’re alright.” An absolutely towering 39ft tall Julia dressed in her festival garb apologized while looking down. “I was just on my way to find Seliph or my mother when I got distracted from another growth spurt. I suppose I should watch my steps a bit more closely…”

“Julia, did you just say another growth spurt? You mean this has already happened to you before?” Leif questioned in confusion and with slight concern.

“Why yes. Just this morning few of the other women with Holy Blood and myself all found ourselves growing larger as if we were back home... but with much higher magnitudes of  growth. Did you not hear all of the commotion earlier?” The purple-white haired girl calmly replied with the tilt of her head.

The prince looked away and scratched the back of his scalp in embarrassment. “I ummm… kinda figured that was just some of the other heroes being rowdy like normal... I mean there wasn’t a call to arms so I didn’t have a reason to think of it as anything else. Besides, I’ve been busy getting ready for the festival.”

“Oh that’s right, you and my brother were supposed to say something for the opening ceremony and be competing in the tournament later...” The tad bit forgetful giantess recalled. “Well just to let you know the festival is still scheduled to take place despite what’s going on. A bunch of the other heroes and I spoke with Lady Naga as well, and she said all of this was nothing to worry about. It had something to do with magic from the other worlds just reacting with our bodies is all... or at least if I’m remembering that right.”

“Y-you’re sure?” The Leonster lad asked with a bit of doubt while he thought it over. “… But then again, I suppose if Lady Naga says it is well then I have no reason to think otherwise... Just please be more careful from now on Julia.”

“I will.” She beamed as she started to walk off again. “I’ve got to be going but I’ll see you at the festival Leif.”

“Y-Yeah, I’ll see you there too then Juila.” Leif briefly waved back before he started walking the opposite direction.

Once he was alone again, Leif began speaking to himself while he continued along the road to get through town. “…Today is going a strange day isn’t it? Even by the standards of what makes for a strange day in Askr… *Sigh* I wonder what the rest of my family is doing in the midst of all of this?”

“Oh, nothing much. How are you doing this morning sweetie? Did you sleep well?” A cheerful and familiar voice interrupted the swordsman’s muttering as if it came from the air above.

“Mother?!” The prince immediately answered as he recognized the voice and looked in the direction it came from.

Looming in the center of the town square sat a calm and content 145ft tall Ethlyn who briefly waved at her son from over the buildings. The gigantic pinkette had her legs resting in a modest pose while she carefully pat the ground near her, signaling for her son to come closer. Although Leif was certainly shocked to see his mother at this size, he knew that she should at least be more careful then Julia. After all she is normally taller than her (step?) niece anyways and there's no way someone like her wouldn’t be careful with her own kids. So despite Ethlyn's intimidating and enormous new stature, the prince went over to see her.

"I um… Yes. I did sleep well. Good morning to you too…" He greeted back while trying to keep his own thoughts in check.

"Oh what's the matter dear? You look uneasy." The gigantic mother asked as she saw right through her child's current disposition. "Are you worried about something? Is it the festival?"

"N-no mother it's not that." Leif denied as he looked around and saw some of the non-heroic townsfolk occasionally stop to stare at Ethlyn. "I'm just concerned about what's going on around here. I mean don’t you think it’s odd being THIS big now all of a sudden? I ran into Julia earlier and she explained how Lady Naga herself said to not worry but I still can't help but dwell on it... especially after seeing you in this state."

The pink haired lady gave a touched little giggle before she reached out with one of her massive hands and used her index finger to gently pat Leif's head. "Now Leif I understand that you might worried about your little old mother, but I promise you I'm fine."

"She's right son, we've got nothing to fret about." Leif's father Quan joined in on the conversation as he suddenly approached from down the street. "I was there this morning with your mom and the others when The Goddess explained how this is all perfectly safe. Apparently this is actually more akin to an extra blessing than anything else."

"How's that?" Leif wondered. "I can understand a little more height being helpful in certain situations but the fact that everyone I've seen today is at least around twice as tall as Altena normally is confuses me. Wouldn't it start to be inconvenient… and dangerous?"

"Not at all." The pair of parents stated in unison.

Quan pointed back with his thumb at his wife while wearing a confident and slightly dopey smile. "Why it was just after dawn when your mother started to grow from all of this that she accidentally flattened me right between her-"

"Quan, sweetheart. He doesn't need to hear that..." The kindly giantess asserted after she semi-forcefully tapped down on the ground with a hand and made a slight tremor.

"Oh *ahem* well I guess you're right dear." The brown haired lord lowered his hand and cleared his throat. "The point is son, your mother along with all of the other Jugdral women here have had their gigantic and growing bodies miraculously rendered incapable of causing damage to anything against their will. So now they can have all of the benefits of extra size with none of the downsides. I’d argue that that qualifies as a blessing. Wouldn’t you?”

Hearing a more complete explanation from his father helped ease Leif’s nerves a bit and he took in a large sigh of relief. “I suppose so. I guess I’ll just have to get used to it like everyone else.”

“There we go that’s the spirit.” Ethlyn grinned with delight. “Now then, did you want me to give you a ride to the festival grounds while you’re here? I know that village is a decent distance away and it wouldn’t take me long to get there. Oh! Or we could find your sister and she could take you, she’s gotten even bigger too you know.”

“No mom, it’s alright.... I’d just like to have some more time to think by myself is all. Besides, I really don’t mind walking.” Leif assured before he walked over to the stationary giantess and did his best to hug her. “And I promise you I’ll be fine. I’ll see you both later at the festival, okay?”

“Okay then dear. We’ll see you later too.” The loving mother acknowledged as she used a finger once again to reach down and embrace Leif by softly pressing his tiny frame against her much larger self at the hip.

Once the two released their hold, Leif and his father had a quick hug of their own before the crown prince once again headed off on the path to the town exit and waved goodbye. With their son back on his way, Quan and Ethlyn couldn’t help but talk amongst themselves after he departed. And while one might think it was difficult to have a private conversation with someone who is more than 100ft tall, it seems as though the “blessing” really did account for everything in the enlarged women’s lives. Ethlyn’s voice was no louder than it was when she was smaller and it could reach whoever she wanted it to in the area. Her volume was still more than capable of matching her scale when it suited her however.

“Hmmm… should we have offered to have Finn to go with him instead? I’d rather him not go so far on his own on foot.” The giant mom truthfully confessed with her own bit of worry. “I know Altena went to go patrol the mountains once she started growing this morning, but I’m sure if we asked she wouldn’t mind helping out her little brother.”

Quan chuckled a bit and shook his head. “Ah you worry too much about him Ethlyn dear. Leif is a fine young man now who can take care of himself. Besides, I spoke with Finn earlier and he already had plans to go with Lachesis and their daughter to the festival grounds early too. We might as well give him time off to enjoy being with his own family. It’s the least we can do for him after all he’s done for us and our kids.”

“*sigh* You’re right Quan.” The mega sized cleric ultimately agreed as she reached down and gestured for her husband to climb onto her hand, to which he did. “You know it’s just hard for a mother to stop wanting to baby her little boy sometimes.”

As Ethlyn carefully raised her hand up to her face, the smaller looking husband smiled back and the both of them blushed from being so close. “I suppose so.” Quan replied before he leaned himself in towards Ethlyn’s enormous lips and they had a loving kiss.

Back with Leif, the rest of his walk was thankfully nice and calm. The prince took in the sights of the Askrian countryside and he had a chance to just take in everything and unwind like he wanted to. The sun was shining right overhead and he was just crossing over the final hill to reach the village where the festival would be held when something else unexpected caught his immediate attention... His almost mile tall fiancée Nanna calmly presiding behind the town in her festival dress. It looked like she was talking with someone faaaaaaaaaar down below her too by the looks of it.

“Now Nanna, you’re sure we can trust you to be around Leif?” The still 6ft 5in Lachesis questioned up to her colossal daughter. “I don’t want him trying to take advantage of you with your new stature or anything.”

“Lachesis, Lord Leif is an upstanding man just like his father.” Finn asserted to his wife/lover (Even the two of them are unsure of their marital status…). “I can assure you he would do no such thing.”

With a bit of a prideful huff, the smaller of the two healers just crossed her arms and gave a sharp turn of her head. “Well I just want to be sure. I may have known that boy when he was young but you can never be too careful.”

“Mother its fine. It’s not like either of you won’t be able to keep an eye on me during the festival anyways… Besides, Leif and I are both adults now and the two of us are already engaged…” Nanna stated rather manner of fact.

“I know dear, I’m just trying to look out for you is all.” Lachesis gazed up at her town sized child with a pinch of concern.

Finn put a hand on the semi-worried mother’s shoulder and held her hand when she moved hers up to meet his. “Nanna, you know your mother means well. She just hasn’t been around the both of you as long as I have. I know you two will be perfectly fine without us this evening.”

With a touched smile the absurdly large giantess leaned down and gently nuzzled the both of her parents with her nose since she was too big to hug them in the traditional way. That and she didn’t want to pick them up suddenly either. “Thank you father, and thank you too mother. I love you.” She answered back with affection as she felt them hold her.

After a few seconds in their familial embrace, Nanna repositioned herself upright again once her parents let go and noticed Leif in the distance just as he came over the hill. With a brimming and open smile now taking over her face, the giantess shifted her posture to one that put herself more on display... but in a still modest way. A way that would let her wonderful new clothes catch her fiancé’s attention instead of only her larger size and curves doing the talking. Before the prince could even speak, the mile high beauty asked him a question she had been waiting to ask him all day. “It’s good to see you Leif. Do you… like my outfit? Does it suit me?”

“Y-YES.” The practically frozen in place Leonster lord answered still in awe of the astounding sight in front of him.

With a giggle, Nanna blushed at her boyfriend’s stiff response. “Well that’s good. I’m glad I didn’t get this on for nothing then.~ So what do you say you get changed into your festival clothes and we can take a picture together? My parents are here and I’m sure they’d love nothing better.”

“Oh?! Of course!” The prince agreed before he started to move as fast as his comparatively minuscule legs could carry him. “I’ll be there as soon as I can… since I actually need to get into town first…”

The curvy giantess gave another amused laugh after she heard the tiny lord’s humorously truthful words and she lovingly watched him hurry over to her.

Leif couldn’t help but smile to himself as he drew closer and closer to his massive beloved. “You know, maybe it was a good thing this happened today after all…”

So in the end, Askr’s first Festival of 12 went off without a hitch. Fun was had by all despite some sizable obstacles along the way. And there could be no doubt that the size difference shared by the people of Jugdral was truly special.

THE END

So hey how about that seasonal Genealogy banner in FEH? I hope IS does more lore centric alts as opposed to just time of year stuff in the future. The Plegian one was a good start but this banner was a step above and I really liked the designs and character choice. If it wasn’t obvious, I’m particularly fond of Nanna’s and the fact that she’s a grail unit means she’ll me my next merge project. As for the story itself this time around, I opted for a continuation of my Genealogy of the Size Difference story I wrote awhile back. I’m still very fond of the Jugdral cast and I figured making some size fluff for my favorite family in those games would be fun. The picture itself is courtesy of Anael-Proserpine so be sure to thank them for doing such a wonderful job of BIG Nanna. I think she turned out great and I’ll definitely be doing something with her again once I +10 her… in like another 6 months or whatever… I think that’s everything I wanted to say but if you have questions of your own or something else then feel free to ask. I’ll see y’all next time.
