Radiation was tired of having Delmar looking like a slob so she had a new set of clothes made for him.Or maybe she had another reason she didn't tell him? Why was it so important he had to wear clothes tailored after the dead psychic Cain's old outfit? Time will tell.
(Or maybe I just wanted to do some outfit design and then my head made a whole plot device out of it....)

He does look good (and a different person) but from the story I didn't think it was important for his costume to be designed from Cain's.

He looks way to happy and calm here. xD I imagine him to look more worn out, more like the other portrait I did. But this was more of a design image I did a while ago rather than an illustration to the story.
As for radiation, she's a sneaky bastard. If she would make a big deal out of it Delmar would have started wondering and used his psychic powers on her to figure out what she was doing.
but why would she take him to that tailor and state that he was a psychic unless she had a plan in mind?

It makes sense, but without knowing her a s a sneaky type (which I didn't) I wouldn't consider the possibility of a hidden agenda just from that.
And it explains why the scars show.

Well it's written in Delmars perspective and he has no reason to suspect anything and he doesn't know she's a sneaky type. The clothes aren't a that big deal anyway
