Do the constellations in the background have any meaning? ou did you choose them because it just felt right? i'm not really knowledgeable about star mappings and meanings.

I like to think that the constelations might be from another star system, if you move out of the solar system all the constelations would get rearranged as the position they are from the observer would be completely different.

You're right, it's quite thrilling to imagine that our solar system is just one of the many in our galaxy and our galaxy floats among many other galaxies. Don't know why, but it feels calming.

Well, did you ever seen a fractal? they are almost hypnotic! the universe is a huge fractal, and everything in it acts like a fractal if you look at it from a certain perspective.

How beautiful and solemn, this has a really wonderful meditative atmosphere. I love the subtle colours you have picked. The red stands out so nicely. What species is that bird on the crescent moon?

Oh right, the English name for the diving duck I was thinking of is Goldeneye, thanks. Yeah, I meant the creation of the world with Ilmatar in the beginning of Kalevala and how the egg breaks and becomes the land. I think it's such a beautiful myth - well I believe there is esoteric truth about it too. Maybe you know about it already, but there is this thought in Finnish mythology that the world has three layers: this world, the underworld and the upper world, and they are connected by the river of life and death. Birds, especially waterbirds like the goldeneye and swan are able to dive or swim to the land of the dead, and to fly up into the upper world called Lintukoto ("the home of the birds") where souls rest in between reincarnations in a warm lake surrounded by birch trees and guarded by an old lady. It was believed that migrating birds would go to this peaceful place beyond our world along the Milky Way for the winter (in Finnish it's called "linnunrata", "the way of the birds"). I have read about this stuff at the university, so if you have questions, feel free to ask.
