Description
In this universe there are three types of wolves. The normal Gammas who have no wings, the Betas who have small feathered wings, and the Alphas who have large bat wings. Sometimes, very rarely a Beta can become an Alpha in desperate needs, but not alot of the time.Blizzard was born in the middle of a...well...a blizzard! All wolves are given names either during a situation when their born or a few weeks later. A parent can take up to a month to find a suitable name that fits them as a character.
His mother and father were both hunted down and killed when he was just reaching his teenage stage of life, forcing him to become the Alpha of their pack and lose what innocence he had left, hardening him into the wolf he is now. He is a strong fighter and is very protective of his pack.
Later on down the track he bared a pup with another alpha, all but one pup survived. But this happiness was not to last...He lost them both to a mud slide two seasons later, getting a stick through his eye and losing his sight once he managed to remove the stick. He damaged his wing trying to save them and believed it to never have healed even years later after the incident....

In a world far different than normal Earth, in the middle of an ocean called theΒ Linwick Sea, was a series of islands, each with their own names and different species that inhabit them. The ocean would divide them for three quarters of each month, the last quarter making the tide go outΒ and allowing passage for a few days.
The main and largest island where the humans of the land lived along with game for them to hunt, was called Hasrial Island. Humans had tamed, bred and trained many creatures from the islands, making them one of the dominantΒ species of the archipelago.
The second biggest island had a sleeping volcano on it and was where the smoke breathers lived. Dragons. It was called Summergar Isle. The dragons there mostly ate fish but there were a few species that resorted to hunting in islands they werent welcome in.
The third biggest island was an atoll. An island that held a giant reef inside with a small entrance. Aquatic creatures lived there and was the main hunting spot for the dragons. It was called Leegar Atoll.
The forth biggest island was mostly abandoned and had thick trees and vines growing on it. Some winged creatures would hunt there for small game. It was called Decayed Ait.
The final two island were decently big and joined at a small part like a really thin bridge of land. On one side were the wolves. Proud creatures that respected their land and believed in spirits, howling at night to seek guidance from them. The gammas had no wings, the betas had small feathered wings, and the alphas had large bat wings and were the born leaders of the packs. There were three packs on this island. The island being called Lunendon Islet.
The connecting island was called Lashrock Skerry and was home to large cats. They were a mix between mountain lions and normal lions. The leader of the clans had large wings, sometimes feathered and sometimes bat wings. It varied. Their land was mostly rocky but had a forest area covering most of it, the rocky terrainΒ giving them plenty of caves to live in. There were only two clans on this island as apposedΒ to the three wolf clans.

The Sundown Pack lived near the center of the forest on Lunedon. They had a large cave with a stream flowing out of it was the back since there was a mini waterfall inside. Outside the cave was a medium sized open space surrounded by rocks and trees that shielded their young from danger, almost like living in a bowl. If it rained hard, the bowl would floor but since their cave was up high against the rocks, they could stay in there and be safe.
In the Sundown Pack was 6 wolves, having once been 8...The leader of this pack was Blizzard who currently sat on the large rock that looked down at the bowl that his pack was safe in. He had large bat wings folded into his back, flexing them a little with the breeze that blowed through them. He looked up at the clouds, closing his eyes as he let the wind blow through his fur.

A female wolf emerges from the cave, she was younger then Blizzard, a young adult. She gazes at him a moment before approaching, she had a silver coat that shimmered in the dawns light, and she bows her head a little to him.
Brightstar: Blizzard. *she looks up at him after greeting him, effectively there wasn't a Beta or an Alpha female to the group, but she would update him on the packs well being.* The pack is getting hungry, but otherwise everyone seems to be doing fine this morning.

Blizzard:*opens his eyes as he looks back down at the pack*I have smelled some game having flown in to the Eastern border. Faunlings have swam in from the Leegar Atoll to graze on the moss rocks by the shore. They will make perfect game for our dinner.

Brightstar: *looks up at him, she stands tall, giving him respect.* I'll go get everyone. *bows her head a little, and trots back into the cave. The youngest pup, a rambunctious little girl named Silverpaw, was trying to get her older play mate to play by tugging at their ears. Brightstar had taken on a big sisterly roll, almost a motherly roll in some cases to this pack that otherwise had none. She was fond of Silverpaw, but the little one had a lot to learn before she was ready for any hunts.* Silverpaw, are you giving everyone a hard time again? *she smiles sweetly, her tone was soft, it had humor in it.*
Silverpaw: *tumbles off her playmates back and shakes her head, sneezing a bit from kicking up dust. She stands up and wags her tail, smiling and running over to Brightstar.* 'star, star! *she nuzzles Brightstar, looking up with big eyes.* Are we gonna have food soon 'star?Β
Brightstar: *looks down at her.* I've just talked with the Alpha. We're going to go hunting shortly.
Silverpaw: *wags her tail more.* Can I go this time? Can I? Can I?
Brightstar: *shakes her head.* You're still much too young Silver. One of us will stay behind to watch over you.
Silverpaw: *pouts, her ears drooping with a grumpy face.* awwwwww....Β

Nettle:*the young teen of the pack, who was pawing at the ear that Silver had been pawing on, looks up at 'Star*You'll be able to hunt soon, Silver. Your teeth are much sharper than last season!*stands up as he shakes some dirt off himself. He was a very sandy coloured wolf with a peachy coloured muzzle, underbelly and legs that were always covered in dirt from roughhousing with Silverpaw. Along his back were greyish-black stripes that went down to the top of his tail, sporting bright blue eyes and a nervous and anxiety ridden attitude. He was the worrier of the pack, always on top of everything thanks to his anxiety. He was the one that thought the idea to escape the floor two seasons ago by hiding in the cave~ Quick thinker~*

Silverpaw: *looks up at Nettle, she was very attached to him and it meant the world when he spoke well of her.* You think so? *she grins showing off said pointy fangs. Her puppy fangs hadn't quite fallen out yet, not all at least* It sounds so fun...
Brightstar: *walks over.* It'll be soon for you Silver, you'll see~ *looks at Nettle* You may get to join the hunt today, it will be up to Blizzard who he takes. You ready for that?
Storm: *a large male pipes up, scoffing, seemingly annoyed.* Why wait for Blizzards command anyway? He has to learn, let's just take him.
Brightstar: *looks at him, a scowl on her face.* Storm, he's still young. The alpha has to decide if it's safe enough for him to practice with us. That's not for you to decide. Plus, you may not even get picked for the hunt group.
Storm: *laughs* As if I wouldn't, I'm one of the strongest here. If Blizzard would fight me I'd probably come out on top.
Brightstar: *rolls her eyes* How many times have we been through this? You can't just- *the two seem to bicker at each other for a while, arguing back and forth. Silverpaw looks up at Nettle.* Why do they fight all the time?

Nettle:*gently nudges her as they walk away from the arguing*Its an adult thing. You'll understand one day.*stretches abit*I hope I get picked to hunt today~*lowers his head abit*But I am a little scared...I don't want to mess it all up for everyone...*nuzzles Silver abit*You're hungry and I don't want you to starve because of me doing something wrong and messing up the hunt >.<*ears flatten*

Silverpaw: *wags her tail and stands on her hind legs putting her front paws on his muzzles and nuzzling his head.* You can do it big brother! *her ears perk as she smiles widely* You'll get a big thing!Β

Nettle:*wags his tail abit as he smiles and gently rolls her onto her back, nuzzling her belly playfully*If you say so~

Silverpaw: *giggles happily and gives his muzzle a lick, her ears perking when she hears a howl from outside.*
Brightstar: *stops arguing and looks over, ears perked.* We're being called out. *looks at Storm* Behave yourself in front of the alpha. You owe him respect for taking you in even though you're an ass. *walks forward, flicking her tail in his face.*
Storm: What?! *growls a little under his breath.* You think you're so high and mighty don't you? I can hunt circles around you and anyone else!
Brightstar: *looks back him.* Hush, will you? Just get outside and try and be civil...
Storm: *snorts with his ears back, walking out, looking at the elder wolf who had been quietly sitting and observeing.* What are you lookin at gramps? *snarls in annoyance and finally get out of the cave.*
Brightstar: *shakes her head and looks back at Nettle and Silverpaw* Come on you two.

Mosspelt:*the old, elder wolf that stood at the same height as Storm gave the wolf a scowling look. He stands up and stretches his old bones abit, walking with 'Star*And how are you doing today, my dear?
Nettle:*picks Silver up by the scruff, trotting on ahead past the others to get outside*

Brightstar: *smiles at him a little.* I'm doing well. *gazes at Blizzard as they approach the rock he was on, they were still a little ways back.* Though it amazes me that Blizzard ever allowed Storm here sometimes.

Mosspelt:*his elderly, golden eyes soften*Blizzard has the patience of a thousand wolves within him. With all he has gone through he continues to lead us. That alone just shows his strength.
Blizzard:*stands tall on the rock, looking down at them, waiting for them all to come into earshot before speaking*Today we hunt on the eastern boarder. A herd of fawnlings have made their way over for their monthly moss grazing. A perfect hunt for us. Should be easy for our beginner too.*looks at Nettle with a small nod*
Nettle:*tail raises as his ears perk*Y-You think im ready this time??
Blizzard:*huffs softly with a nod*Fawnlings are slow and easy to catch. I would be surprised if you didn't manage to catch one.

Storm: Of course he's ready... *scoffs* Not like the kid will learn by baby sitting Silver.
Silverpaw: *looks up at Nettle, wagging her little tail happily* You'll do it!
Brightstar: *looks up at Blizzard, aside from Mosspelt she was the one who showed her alpha the most respect by standing tall and looking attentive, rather then Storm who had his ears back and a scowl that seemed permanently stuck to his face.* Who will be watching Silver today?

Blizzard:*thinks for a moment before looking at Storm*Perhaps you could use a break this time, Storm. You hurt your leg last hunt afterall.

Storm: Me?! My leg is fine! *he was a very proud wolf, never wanting to show any weakness. He had a scratch on his back leg and had REFUSED to show any sign of a limp when in anyones presence. He believed he was the best, and refused to hear otherwise. He wasn't wrong in the fact that he was very strong though.* If you want us to starve then fine. I always catch the big game.
Brightstar: *narrows her eyes.* Yeah, because you're beyond reckless.

Blizzard:*flexes his wings abit as he climbs down from the rocks*Stop your fussing, Storm. Eventually Silverpaw will be old enough to hunt and we can all go together. But for now I wish for you to watch her while we're gone.*walks up in front of him*You can do that, can't you?*eyes narrow dominantly as his tail goes straight out*

Storm: *looks him in the eyes with his ears back and frown, snarling a little before turning his head away in annoyance* Yeah, fine, whatever...
Brightstar: *shakes her head, he was such a pain.*

Blizzard:*lowers his tail with a small huff*Good.*looks at the others*Lets go now. Its a fair run to get there.*walks to the lip of the bowl they lived in, jumping up onto the hard, dirt edge as he shakes his fur abit, waiting for the others*
Nettle:*ears lower as he nuzzles Silver gently before hurrying over and climbing up clumsily*

Brightstar: *runs up alongside him and mosspelt, ears perked and ready.*
Storm: *watches them all jump out and looks at Silverpaw, he walks over and grabs her by the scruff, walking back into the cave.*

Mosspelt:*needs abit of help leaving the bowl, letting Brightstar grab his scruff and help pull him up, giving her a gentle lick as a show of thanks before shaking the dust off himself*
Blizzard:*nudges Nettle abit to make the nervous pup move before running ahead through the trees*

Brightstar: *looks down at Nettle.* Come on, you'll do fine~ Just stick with us and don't fall behind. *gives him a lick for encouragement and runs along side him and mosspelt.*

Blizzard:*runs through the trees, making sure to stay in their territoryΒ as much as possible as they traverse across the streams and rocky terrain. It was a beautiful day to hunt for sure~*

Brightstar: *as they approach the area of the hunt, she picks up a new scent on the wind, stopping in her tracks for a moment before darting over to Blizzard.* Blizzard, I smell another wolf. It's not a familiar scent...

Blizzard:*ears perk as he sniffs the air*Yes...I have been keeping track of that for a while...*looks in the direction it leads to*...Must be a rouge.

Brightstar: *looks back at Nettle a bit worried as she whispers to Blizzard, not wanting to cause the pup alarm.* What if they're hostile? Nettle isn't ready for that kind of confrontation...Β

Blizzard:*glances at her*Go ahead to the hunting grounds. I will check out the rouge.*nuzzles her abit*You're in charge until I get back.

Brightstar: *nods, knowing he could handle himself and trusting in him completely.* I'll look after them for you. *gives him a nuzzle back and turns to Nettle and mosspelt.* We're splitting up briefly, let's go get started shall we~? *she puts on a cheerful demeanor, showing no sign of worry to Nettle as she wouldn't want the pups anxieties to flare. There was hardly a reason to worry about Blizzard regardless, he'd proved himself stronger then most. She trots to the two, leading them onward.*

Nettle:*looks a little unsure but smiles when 'Star nuzzles him, following her happily*
Blizzard:*watches them for a moment before walking after the invisible trail*

It's quiet as he walks through the forested area, he hears bird and other small animals as he reaches a small clearing. He could see a few animals around here, though nothing large. This prey would be enough to sustain one wolf however. He see's paw prints in the snow, suggesting one was nearby, however, the paw prints abruptly stop, seeming messy and rushed... Perhaps this was a lone winged wolf? It would explain why the tracks suddenly stopped. But if it had flown...where was it?Β
???: *atop a cliff that no normal wolf could have climbed, a wolf peaks down. He'd smelled Blizzard and his pack, and when he heard him coming, he hid. He watches Blizzard from above, noting his huge wings and how massive he was. This must have been that groups alpha. He ducks down when Blizzard looks his way, keeping out of his sight. He'd come here not knowing he'd stumbled into a packs territory...Should he fight? No...There's no way he'd win.*

Blizzard:*eyes harden abit as he looks up at the high rocks, studying them for a moment before walking around, seeing the wolf as he huffs and jumps up onto the slanted stones*Are you a rouge?*tail goes straight in warning he isnt afraid to fight if need be*

???: *surprised, having expected him to fly rather then walk up behind him he jumps, tail tucked under him. He was a brown wolf with feathered wings, wings which were tucked back, folded against his sides. This wolf didn't look like he'd ever seen much battle, as he didn't have a scratch on him to suggest this. He looks up at Blizzard with his ears back looking...spooked. Not normal behavior for a rouge.* W-Well I...Kinda? *he looked like he didn't know quite how to answer, nerves seemed to be getting to him at the sight of this imposing wolf.* I didn't come here to fight!

Blizzard:*approaches him without fear, sniffing towards him with a small warning growl*I won't fight if I have to.*sniffs him abit*Hmm...You don't smell like a rouge...*moves his head back as he looks at him with his head turned to the side in suspicion*Where are you from?

???: *sinks down a bit, looking very intimidated.* I...I don't have a pack, if that's what you mean. I used to... But... *looks down a bit, there was a pain in his eyes. He must have been through something.* Well I'm alone now. I only came here to hunt because I thought this area wasn't owned. *he sinks down again, almost laying down at this point, his eyes averted and looking away. Upon closer inspection, he could see a few bruises on the wolf. It looked like he'd been kicked, possibly by something he'd tried to kill.*

Blizzard:*seems to show pity on the beta, gently licking the bruising before nudging him to his feet*Come. I can give you shelter.

???: *looks at him, a little bit of surprise on his face.* ...You're...letting me come with you? *he looked unsure, perhaps wondering if he was being led into a trick.*

Blizzard:*huffs softly*I believe in giving wolves a second chance.*turns to leave*Its your choice though.*walks down and jumps off the rocks, swishing his tail abit before looking back at him with captivating eyes*

???: *hesitates for a moment but opens his wings and glides down to him, deciding he may as well take the chance that this wolf was actually nice. Not like anyone else had ever offered refuge, and hunting by himself was...difficult to say the least. He folds his wings up after landing, showing a bit of a limp from the injury he'd gotten.* ...Guess I've got nothing to loose. *he still looks a little apprehensive, but he gives Blizzard a small smile, looking up at him. He was shorter then Blizzard, but not drastically.*

Blizzard:*looks at his leg*Hmm...Hunting big game were you? Kind of risky as a single hunter.

???: *he smiles sheepishly and gives a half hearted quiet laugh, his ears back, showing he must have known this, and felt silly.* I took on something bigger then I should have... I'd like to say it was just because of hunger...it was in part... But Part of me just wanted to see if I could do it... *he looks down.* I've mostly picked up how to hunt just by watching from the outside, so...I'm not the best at it I'm afraid.

???: *looks at him, one of his ears perked and the other down, still giving a bit of a smile.* Most wolves would have just run me out of their territory by now. Getting an offer like that is...not something I've experienced. lone's aren't usually looked at in such a nice way.
