One of my new favorite movies :] and so far my favorite Hayao Miyazaki film n_nI officially love Howl x)
, markl (mukkl, murkkl? sorry @@ ) is absolutly adorable, calcifer is the best thing EVOR, turnip head is so funny and amazing, and sophie...well she's cool too... i was gonna draw the doggie, the witch of the waste, a few other characters, and the castle itself, but i didn't feel like tormenting myself even more XDD;;So this took 3 days, many MANY reference pictures, and lots of lovin' x)
oh yeah..don't ask me where sophie's legs are...even i don't know that
all i know...is i didn't want to draw them
so they are...wherever you want them to be xD;

I just finished this movie.
What a great film. I love it when you can watch a creativity bombshell and not go "Well, it's nice, but it was induced by an acid trip."

i have a stuffed animal of madam sullivan's dog though - it's pretty bitchn
it's a fantastic film, possibly my favorite of the ghibli bunch
if you want something that could look like it was drug induced, then watch my neighbor totoro, that's a silly film, but absolutely great

Niiice. I love Miyazaki too, my favourites are Kiki's delivery service, Whisper of the Heart, Spirited Away and Howl's Mowing Castle. [it's HAURU's mowing castle. HAURU! NOT HOWL! >.<] I like them all.. The picture is nice, Calcifer is cool and so are the others. ^^ And nice colours, too.

yes, that was an amazing movie, and an even better book! i've already read it twice, and seen the movie thrice! i'd have to disagree on it being his best though, i'd say spirited away was far better. Lovely draw though. such nice colour and detail. i especially like tyhe way you made the end of her braid brown, showing the transformation which happened ever so often during the film. just excellent!
