Backdrop : For the Korrasami Wedding Day event on Tumblr, and because I needed to celebrate that my crackship OTP from LOK season 1 actually sailed. Good grief. I shipped two female characters from a western kids show and it sailed.

The first thing I notice is the pure happiness this picture brings out through your use of colors. But at the same time the "flow" of the picture brings you back to the two people in the center, just like the wind swirling around them. When you really look at them, the faces, and the bodies as well, are extremely well done. Clean lines, great shadows and perspective. And that hair...
As for the rest, the background's general dark to light as you travel upwards in the picture is a nice touch. Their dresses are simple but again, very clean and well-designed. I think they suit both of them very well, just like their expressions and body language. Easily one of the best pieces of art I've seen of these two.

I'm actually glad the creators of the show took the path they did. Not just with Korrasami, but with the other things in the series. Them showing how debilitating PTSD is was a good thing in my opinion.

That's the vibe I was going for, since her family apparently descended from fire nation colonists, and the fire nation's red theme works well for her since it's her secondary color ^_^.

Oh, I didn't know that they actually had fire nation blood. Asami looks like she has, but I wasn't sure if it had been confirmed

Asami's father is from the Fire Nation (as suggested by the amber color of his eyes), her mother is from the Earth Kingdom, as indicated by the green color of her eyes(which she inherited from her mother).

This is simply beautiful. Both dresses are elegant and sufficient for any bride, and both characters still come across as the strong young women in love that they are. Marvelous work! Thank you so much for sharing!

It's hilarious how one had to tell oneself on some level "I'm just seeing things, there's no way it's going to happen", especially throughout Books 3 & 4. Then the finale airs and you'd been calling it all along.

Yep. I saw it happening since early season 3, but just expected it to be queerbaiting with Korra single at the end. Then I heard of that interview where Bryke said they ended it with a ship. Spent the rest of the episodes wondering whether that was in jest and now we're here
