What font are you using? And I can't figure out how to use that weather thing. And just one more question what is the script of the calendar? Thx

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

yitleng In reply to Donaldjuh [2011-05-26 01:09:34 +0000 UTC]

I am using Century Gothic and Gill Sans Regular. The calendar seems off alignment. I do not recommend you to use it until I found the solution. If you are insist, just put
cal
in the geektool shell.

For the weather thingy, it's abit complicated. I would like to help you on this but currently at my office with my poor windows os.

yitleng In reply to Intricedd [2011-05-25 02:12:05 +0000 UTC]

the clock hand itself is a program "simple floating clock" and I create a blue ring icon applied with image shell(geektool)thats it.

You must have known, because the output stays empty. The curl url is fine in the webbrowser, geektools shell script stays empty, ill try to fiddle around with it some more

curl --silent "YOUR URL HERE" | grep -E '(High' | sed -e 's/
//' -e 's///' -e 's/<\/b>//' -e 's/
//' -e 's/
//'

The above script is for 2 days forecast.
For your information, please ignore Image & Shell script contained in my text.

Doesn't quite work yet, but it must be a thing with my geektools, its acting weird.
For ex. It doesn't startup from boot, I always need to open it from my system prefs for the geeklets to show :/ weird stuff.

Thanks for sharing and helping

I like your setup. its fun & sophisticated at the same time
geektool scripts look good, just a bit jagged. maybe try this tut on font smoothing for geektool-[link] not sure if it works though.
