This is my time, this is my life.
This is Mich, an OC from the story "Lebenszeit":
He's sitting in one of the empty dorm rooms trying to read. Since he can be quite arrogant, he doesn't actually tell you to leave him alone, but stares you down.
Mich's season is autumn which is why I tried to use a lot of red/orange and yellow. The light is coming from one of the windows. I wanted the drawing to look warm and bright despite the fact that it's autumn.
Tools: Mainly SAI, editing done in PS, Intuos 3 A4
Time: 1-2 days

Thank you for your comment! <3 To be honest, I was scared to colour the books. After finishing the lineart I was asking myself how the hell I'm supposed to add colours to the books. But somehow I kinda managed it xD I was actually planning to make each book unique, but then gave up on that crazy idea... xD

Me too. If it's me, I;ll make the book separated from the character but then comes the problem. How will I shade them when we stick them all together. Anyway, please come and visit mine too.

Honestly, it's a very eye-catching piece. On all the good things, I definitely love the angled composition and the lighting as well as how well the character fits in with his background. Attention to detail is pretty fine and the pose is rather fitting.
However, the more I look at him alone, the more little things I see. Anatomy on his raised arm looks weird and his other arm looks like a noodle. I find it weird that he's looking at the viewer and with his arm position, it'd look a little more natural if he were leaning a little more forward or his arm were in a rested position. His neck's curve line seems to be disconnected and strange (but looking up is a really hard thing to pull off sometimes).
Nose nostrils do not seem to line up and he kind of looks uncomfortable after looking at it for a while.
However, it does not detract from your beautifully done colors and the general niceness of it all. I was throughly amused when I looked at his belt and saw the detailed little star. Most issues only lie in anatomy, honestly. Luckily, that is solved with practice.

the only mistakes i noticed are the nose lol ._. and the neck
about the Nose : i dont know its like its kinda twisted ._. or smthing like that

I love the wrinkles in the clothes, they're pretty spectacular. The shading around them gives a really neat effect. I especially enjoy the angle here. The only thing I would suggest would have been to connect the elbow with the leg. It would have made the position look a bit more natural, though I love his slouched figure. * u*

Hehe ja, der Arm wirkte zuerst zu lang, daher hab ich ihn ein wenig gekürzt und jetzt sieht er etwas unnatürlich aus XD
