Description
Type 'Insanity' in the dA seach engine......and you get page after page of macabre and horror. Just endless deviations of screaming faces, dazed expressions and other depressing images.
I hate that.
Do these people honestly think that represents insanity? Sadness and grief and hysteria? Insane people don't think to themselves "I'm insane, I wish I wasn't insane, it's so horrible being insane." Because if they knew they were insane, then they probably aren't really insane...
Insane people think differently from society. They think they're right and society's wrong. So if society dubs them insane, they dub society insane.
Which is kind of scary because you never really know if you're insane or not. We probably all are insane, and just don't know it.
So anyways, I just decided to draw this after looking up insanity on dA.
I like the way I drew and CG'ed the guy (somewhat, I see some mistakes but I saved over the original .psd file, so I'm stuck D
but considering this was one of my whims, it turned out pretty good. (closeup: [link] )Uhm, I'm done here.

oohh I remember when you were working on this! EEW I searched (almost said googled heh) insanity and you're right, it's all macabre and horror! but this depicts insanity much more accurately.

Good. Actually naming it 'insanity' was a last minute idea. Eh. wanted to be as vague and cliche as possible with the title.
oh wow, I can't believe you remember the bike shadow thing, mostly because I had no idea what you were talking about for a few seconds since I forgot myself.
haha the handwriting was written using my left hand, but shh... no one else needs to know. Pretend I'm just as bad as you are.
