hmmm I guess, I didn't think I was the only one who came up with this idea, so I checked on DA search engine "Serpent Mode Naruto" and lo and behold my sasuke is right there lol
Go ahead, as long as I get a small mention ^_^*

You know, having those marks naturally could be a sign that Oroch has a natural affinity to snakes. If Nin can have affinities to a certain type of elemental manipulation, what's to say they can't have (or train to have) and affinity with a certain animal? Hell, Kiba's entire clan could have originated with one ninja who had a very strong affinity with dogs, same thing with Shino's ( with bugs). Saskue's training with Oroch could helped him gain an affinity with snakes, so getting those marks (through prolonged use of snake like techniques) is not out of the question.
lol, helps give legitimacy to Umeko's "aspect" abilities.

Don't fret, I haven't written anything in a while also, so, I'm just as much to blame. It's my job to inspire dammit!

It's possible, I also had the same idea about Snake mode, but if we check all sannins memories, we can we Oro-chan in very young age, and still with those marks. We can see him with those even just after leaving Academy with Tsunade and Jiraya, when Sarutobi just became their teacher. I don't think he was even able to summon something in this age, but who knows....maybe he just born with those- I think so, because they are indelible under the shower in contrast to Kibas or Kankuros (eh, I thought their marks are natural, not painted )
um...But Oro is the only one with natural, indelible marks in this story...and maybe Kimimaro.
Anywayz, I think we'll never know that for sure, cause it's detail, and I'm sure Kishimoto will not care about this, and just go ahead with his story.

i doubt kishi would do that cuz i think he had naruto become a sage to counter sasuke's magekyou sharingan but sasuke used that shed skin technique during the fight with itachi after getting blasted with amteratsu(probably spelled wrong) and squeezed through the crack in the floor

yeah, I recall that Sasuke used that technique and it apparently used a lot of chakra...That technique is one that Orochimaru overuses so I thought that maybe this "Serpent Mode" would remove the strain of that particular jutsu...

it could but at the same time they could of meant alot of chakra due to them already useing tons of chakra already like their genjutsu battle and sasuke breaking out of the tsukiyomi

makes sense but I recall Itachi remarking on the chakra costs of that particular jutsu...oh well, don't matter anymore ^_^* I just thought that it would be a bit unfair if only Toads had exclusive "Modes" and "Frog-Fu" (lol. Maybe Snakes and Slugs have their own fighting styles and "Modes", too

true but at the same time it wouldnt be fair for naruto if their was everytime he gets something new so does sasuke and his stuff is way more practical then naruto's naruto learns rasenshuriken so sasuke absorbs orochimaru then gets magenkyou so naruto gets sage mode just making it a bit too hard on naruto cuz im pretty sure sasuke and naruto are going to go at it again and on that note i think naruto should of beat sasuke the first time around naruto just seemed more powerful at the time to me

hmmm interesting, well I think that Naruto and Sasuke would be on even grounds now. Even though Sasuke lost the curse seal and orochimaru's chakra, he gained the Mangekyo (which allows for new ninjutsu and genjutsu abilities) in return...while Naruto stopped relying on the Kyuubi's chakra (and finally became aware of its danger), he gained Sage Mode (which allows for Senjutsu and increased abilities). So I thinks its about even...Even in terms of "Trump Card" techniques they seem even: Naruto and his Rasenshiriken, and Sasuke and his Kirin...^_^

but over all tajutsu sasuke is much better he can and has proved that he can handle dozens of foes at once so naruto's kage bunshin are pretty useless to him

that's true, but now that Naruto has his Frog-Fighting down and Natural energy to boast, his taijutsu would be equal if not almost greater than Sasuke's. Also, even against Sasuke's Sharingan, Sage mode gives Naruto the additional ability to sense Chakras around him (kinda like DBZ with their Ki), so my guess is that it would work well to defend against sasuke's taijutsu, and by that account they'd probably be equal.

yeah but sasuke can see chakra with his sharingan i dont know about sage chakra though but he would be able to see frog katas chakra floating off of him so he'd probably keep his distance
