A pair of chickens enjoying a bit of tea and breakfast. While it is commonly known that chickens love eating their own eggs, it is not as widely known that they prefer to spend their holidays at bed-and-breakfasts in Swansea. . .
About the artist: Ellam
English visual artist and sculptor William Henry Ellam put all sorts of animals, like giraffes, frogs, and elephants into human situations, like his silly series for Raphael Tuck & Sons showing animal couples having “Breakfast in Bed” and his novelty puzzle series. He is also known for painting dryly humorous romance scenes and women's suffrage cards.
