Antique postcard
Linen era, circa 1940s

Free-wheeling resort city on Texas's gulf coast. Once home to a number of gambling casinos and other vice-related industries, today it is a tourist attraction for its beaches and wharfs, its very popular seasonal festivals and its Victorian era buildings that have been adapted for use as restaurants, antique stores, historical exhibits, museums and art galleries.

It's just like I mentioned under the other wonderful Galveston postcard (with the Saewall): looking at this makes me wish we could have stayed there longer to enjoy Galveston to the fullest.
Maybe a next time. (^_^)
