Great capture as always, I canΒ΄t help getting impressed by the fact that the D70 is virtually noise-free even at ISO 1250.... The focus seems a bit off though...

the noise reduction program does wonders. But its the only way to shoot that without a flash in a highschool gym. So yea. The D70 is crazy noisy at anything above 400.

[link] its free. and it works well. I might get the full version sometime, cause I want the feature of the batch editing, so I can let my computer do all the work.

wow, 1250 ISO
how is your image NOT grainy/noisy, if i go up to 400 (max my camera allows) my pictures become extremely noisy

My camera was $1300 yours was $500 thats one reason. Mine is a Nikon D70 its a digital SLR with interchangable lenses. and then the other reason is I used a noise reduction software. It works nicely [link] thats the link to download it. anyway thanks for the comment man.

Well its sad, cause you really get what you pay for. which really sucks. I would love you buy a Nikon D1X or the new Nikon D2X (when it comes out) for like $300 but that just doesnt' happen. The difference between pro bodys and consumer cameras are insane, you have no idea. its just crazy.

Your very welcome, sometimes I'm embarrised that so much of my professional work and portfolio relies so heavily on sports. I agree some what with Allan Dietrich of the Blosk News Alliance who went to HS with my ex-wife and won the Kodak award back in '94, he said "shooting sports is like spearing fish in a barrel". But then I know how Allen won all his awards. He got all of his awards by presenting minoritys (read African-Americans) in dignified or cute scenereos intead of acurately reflecting reality. SO ... I guess what I am saying is we all just do what we gotta do. Thanks for putting me on your freind list. I will check my favorite list when I get back and make sure "friend" is checked beside you in my watch box. Right now I have to run out and shoot both mens and womens soccer though its not even a paying gig. I working on a masters in C&T E so I'm helping the kids at the school paper just to keep my toes wet. I'm tired so I think I will just take the 85mmf1.4 and wait till they come close to me. HAHAHA have fun with the soccer. I am a guy. And what cameras/lenses are you using? I would post some of my journalism stuff, but no one would really care about it, cause its just all photostorys and parades, nothing insainly interesting.
