Well, yes. I love Robert's stuff. The complexity, the detail. Sci-fi book covers, that's what he does. Heinlein, Asimov that sort of thing. However the images he produces have one aspect. They are dead, staged, other-worldly in that they lack life... That frustrates me so when I put the image on my own desktop I have no choice but to enliven them. Lens flare is an old tool but it adds vitality. A few blobs of white to simulate a pulsating light beam. Some contrast and other elements and it gives it life. I might add some smoke from the other tripod's projector.
