First painting of the New Year. dsfkndfs
This situation I'm in has a wall dividing us from talking to each other. This painting is called "Hope". Even the girl (name will be revealed in the future) doesn't look like me, she is based off of me. The hand is the one I like. The man's looks isn't revealed yet but he knows who he is. This "wall" is what divides us right now. (Inspired by Draw With Me but is totally different). There will come a day where this "wall" will come down. We bring each other hope. We've been through a lot of hurt in our lives and there will come a day where I can be able to finally take his hand. sfsdfkjjfds So I will announce this will become a manga in the future. Of course, this painting is pure symbolism and this manga won't involve any fantasy. skfmdsfdsfds We will make it. This painting pours our all my feelings so...Can't wait to work on this story in the future! I won't reveal anymore after this though.
Stories come out the best when you base it off on something in your life. 
Tools Used: Paint Tool Sai and Photoshop.
Time Taken: I..have no clue. Lost track since I became too involved with it for the past few days.

Textures:

Colours:
Beautiful mix of colours, especially the yellow and purple blend (yellows and purples are so hard to put together, but this definitely works!). I would recommend more yellow towards the hand if you wanted to emphasise it a bit more.
Space (background/foreground):
This is where the artwork could be improved a little more: I feel like the character and the hand are drawn quite well, yet the artwork seems a bit flat? You could fix this by changing the size of either the hand or the girl to make it seem like they're separated from each other (so that the girl is in the mid-ground and the hand is in the foreground), or to make a clearer background behind the glass (you could turn the yellow/pink into some defined clouds?). Tones/Shades:
Adding some more shading can enhance the drama in your artwork. So for example, if you added more light to the hand and make the girl's face/hands/skirt shining brighter with the light of the hand, that could bring more focus to the hand. I can see that you've already done some good shading on the girl's figure, emphasizing what you have already done could do the trick.

I'm really pleased to hear your thoughts about it! I put all my feelings into this. Heehee. Oh true about the yellow being added to the hand more. I see what you mean about the space. Maybe I should have extended the canvas more to make it longer to give more space between them.

This is a very pretty piece. I love the vibrant color and textures you bring here. Hope is certainly well-represented with bright colors and patterns. The slight chaos of the clashing textures is so interesting to look at that even without the subject, it would still be a rather nice composition.
The expression on the girl's face and the slight top-down angle are both well-executed and the angle of the feet and legs look about right. However, the skirt of her dress doesn't seem to drape along her legs much, almost as if the skirt is made of cardboard. Unless it's meant to be starched beyond belief, you might try using some reference to get an idea of how that kind of fabric lays while someone sits and that position. There's also some technical awkwardness with the thumb. The other fingers look okay, but the thumb is perched a bit awkwardly, almost looking disjointed or turned at an odd angle. One thing I do like is the shading. You use a nice mix of colors and highlights to give the illusion of depth and on that end, it turned out pretty well.
Overall, I'd give this about a six or seven. It's very pretty and captures the joy and liveliness you're going for, but there are some technical mistakes that hold it back a bit. Either way, I quite like it myself and I'm certain others will too.
