He wrote a book and he uses a study made with lobsters to explain why hierarchies in society are the same as hierarchies in nature, and have been existing for millions of years already. And then, a lot of lobster-themed memes ensued...

Thank you!! Sheesh, now I see the lobster issue is actually one of *the* main subjects Mr Peterson is famous for - a simple google search would have been enough for lazy me...!

Hm, google offers a lot of "Peterson sucks", "Peterson rocks" and "You are totally misinterpreting his message" review-ish things, I guess I should read his books to get true clarity about his viewpoints.

I've never read his books, just his videos. Nothing better than going to the source and reaching conclusions by oneself, I say.
