Something I did at school about a year ago (as you can see 2008). So I don't like this as much anymore.I didn't get the chance to take this home cause my teacher took this for a gallery or something, I don't even know. So only now I finally got the chance to scan this!
I think the point was to use colors that contrast a lot. But I can't remember anymore.

The hand like details compare to the neck but the whole thing looks good. Especially the blue/orange contrast. I think it's still nice and the effects made with the watercolors are nice too.

yeah. : D thanks. I haven't colored with watercolors like this lately. I only do flat colors an ddon't use the nice effects that are possible too. orz >.<

I like both, realistic looks really original with your method with watercolors and the "cartoon" version is cute and lovely. So whatever you're making I like it XD

yeah but with a close up, first your eyes are gonna die if it's small, and after doing the hair you would lost your motivation to have taken so much time on that XD

So i'd especially point out anatomy on head and neck.
Then the neck is so full of everything o_o The bones are everywhere, i've never seen something like this, not even on very skinny person o_o
And finally face is a bit flat to me... And i'd also say that mouth are misplaced, but here i am not sure 
But on newer pictures i never noticed any of those, so... yep, you got over all teh mistakes! x3

ho yeah. I have an obsession in drawing veins. and specially neck veins.. O.O and sometime I go a little overboard but not so much recently. I try to draw more healthier looking people. DX not anorexic ones.. they scare me now that I look back at them.. O.O
